Adopt A Pet

Adopt A Pet

There are many wonderful animals in this world who are not so fortunate to have a place to call home. You will find these trusting pets in shelters, state operated ‘pounds’, with rescue groups and even caring vets will house them. Some of them have come from homes where they are no longer wanted….some have never known what it is like to be loved. The goal of this page is to bring hope to some of Maryland’s deserving animals.

    “Oliver”

This is the sweetest dog you will ever meet in your life. He is a Shepherd/Labrador mix and he is about a year old. He was brought to the shelter because his owner did not want to keep him any longer.
This outgoing boy is full of playfulness and love. He really likes other dogs and is wonderful with people. Oliver is looking for an owner who will have time to spend with him and who will take him to the park for good walks and have time to kick back and relax together. Please call Sally Jennings to meet this handsome boy. 410-576-0481

    “Jewel”

This beautiful German shepherd, 6 month old puppy is definitely a jewel. She is extremely intelligent and very playful. She loves dogs and everybody she meets.

Jewel was bought from a breeder by a family who later on decided that they really did not have time for a dog. So Recycle Love Rescue decided to take her and find her a home where she would be cared for and loved for the rest of her life.

Jewel is spayed and up to date with all her shots. She is crate trained and is working on being potty trained. When you are ready to meet this Jewel please call Sally Jennings at 410-576-0481

    “Jazzy”

She is one of the most loving and laid back dogs you have ever met!!! Jazzy is a Rottie/lab mix that is about 1 year old. She is a very polite girl and gets along beautifully with other dogs.
Jazzy has spent a lot of time at the Baltimore City shelter but now is ready to find her new loving home. She is looking for someone who likes to take walks and take time to smell the fresh air with her. She also would love to have someone to cuddle with.

Jazzy is about 40 lbs. She is being foster at Wagtime Doggie daycare in DC where she is playing and socializing with other dogs. Please call Sally Jennings at 410-576-0481 to meet the dog of your dreams. She is the one!!!!

    “Daisy”

This Labrador/pitbull mix puppy is just a dream. She is very outgoing and loves to socialize with dogs and people. She is a sassy girl.

Daisy was going to be put to sleep at the shelter because she looked too much like a Pitbull but we rescued her since Pit bulls are beautiful and labs are awesome dogs. This combination makes Daisy. She is already spayed and up to date with all her shots. She is being socialized at Wagtime doggie daycare in DC, waiting for her person to come meet her.

If you want an outgoing, fun and loving dog, look no further, Daisy is your girl. Call Sally Jennings today to meet this great dog. 410-576-0481

    “Noel”

This beautiful loving girl has had a very hard start in life. Noel is full of pure love and does not have a mean bone in her body. She was brought to us with wounds that apparently had been left untreated. We took her immediately to the vet where she got treated. Noel is now healing well at her foster home where she keeps coming out of her shell everyday a little more. Noel loves other dogs, she loves to cuddle with them and play. She is a little shy with people but in 5 seconds she will know if she can trust you and start cuddling up to you. She deserves the best life in this world. If you would like to meet this princess and fall in love with her, please contact Sally Jennings at 410-576-0481

    “Happy”

“Happy” is a 6 year old spayed Pekingese whose shots are current and whose remaining teeth now sparkle! She is a sweet, happy little dog that is good with all other dogs and ignores my cats. She is looking for a new home that will love her and keep her home and safe! Is that your home? If so, take a peek at this sweet Peke and see if you are a match for each other!

    “Coco”

Coco is an eight month old owner surrender to our rescue program. She is a purebred ShihTzu, white and gold in color.

Coco is a very nice dog, with a wonderful temperment. She gets along with everyone. Coco would like a home with no small children so she gets all the attention. Families with small children should raise their kids and forget about dogs, because they probably will when they get them home. Kids are a full time job.

Coco’s Mom had to let her go because of severe medical problems. She was very sad but they are trying to do what is best for Coco. Coco weighs about 13 lbs. She is totally housebroken and crate trained. No travel crates please unless for traveling.

Coco is totally vetted. She can be adopted for a $300 donation to our rescue medical fund and an approved application. Contact bonnwright@aol.com to see Coco.

    “Jaynette”

Jaynette is available free to reputable Schnauzer Rescue or to her forever home for an adoption fee to cover vet care.

Jaynette is a large Schnauzer or Schnauzer mix. She was living in a puppymill and was released to our rescue, not sure why. She is only approx two years old. She is large for a Mini Schnauzer so may be part Giant Schnauzer.

Jaynette was never properly socialized when she was a puppy, so she is afraid of humans. However she is not a biter and I am able to approach her and clean her ears and cut nails. She makes no attempt to bite but she does try to elude me. She will learn in time that humans are not going to hurt her and treats are good. Her ears and tail have been cropped. She has always been with small dogs so she acts like a small toy dog. Even though, she looks like a baby huey with them.

Fenced yard only for Jaynette. If you have room for a sweet schnauzer girl who has no idea how big she really is, contact us at bonnwright@aol.com. We are in the process of housebreaking her. She will be spayed, have a dental and be up to date on shots before leaving our rescue. Her adoption fee is a $250 donation to our rescue medical fund.
