"Max"
Max -- a little Maltese-Poodle mix (Malt-A-Poo) is just two years of age,
born on 07-10-06 -- purchased in Willoughby, OH at a Motel puppy sale on
10-14-06 - we have no idea who his breeders are.
Max is 8 pounds, white
with black markings, his tail must have been docked by his breeder as no
Veterinarian would have cut it so short. Max was owner-surrendered to
rescue as a home with 4 young teens and all their friends coming and going
was too much activity for Max -- He needs a quiet home, with seniors or
someone who works out of their home, as he would really like a lap to call
his own. Max is house broken and leash trained, sleeps in his bed or with
owners.
Max is up to date on all his shots, heartworm negative, neutered and will be
microchipped next week. His patellas (back knees) are weak, so a home
without many steps is desired.
If Max is the little one you are looking for -- please fill out an
application to adopt. Application to Adopt, Home Visit, Adoption Donation,
References Required, Adoption Contact. For more information, please
contact Audrey in Mentor, OH (east of Cleveland) --
Audrianne@Voyager.net -- Max would need to be picked up from foster Mom, in
Mentor -- We do not ship or transport.
PLEASE NOTE: MY COMPUTER CRASHED - I'VE LOST ALL MESSAGES PRIOR TO JULY 15, 2008. IF YOU CONTACTED ME IN THE PAST FOR A RESCUE -- PLEASE CONTACT ME AGAIN -- SEND ME ANOTHER APPLICATION TO ADOPT. Serious illness in my household (terminal cancer) I prefer NOT to receive phone calls on my rescues. I will contact you.

"Reggie"
Reggie, a darling little Maltese male was purchased from a show breeder in Florida to compliment their current breeding/showing stock. Reggie was owner-surrendered as the wife is ill and has too many dogs to care for. They are small hobby/show/breeders who take excellent care of their dogs.
Reggie was born on 08-16-06 -- he weighs 7 lbs and is white in color. All his shots are up to date, he is heartworm negative -- scheduled to be neutered and microchipped on July 30, 2008, thus he would be available for adoption around Aug. 15th.
Reggie has been crated from birth, never socialized much, so he's a little on the shy side for a few days until he knows you -- he's very much a BIG BABY, loves to lick and give kisses. He would do well as an only dog with a stay at home adult who would give him the attention he craves. Reggie is NOT housebroken, he is afraid of the flap on the doggie door - so he will need TLC in his housebreaking.
We do not have a shelter, all rescues are in foster homes. Dogs are not shown without first being approved to adopt. Please do not ask to come out and see what we have available unless you have an APPROVED APPLICATION TO ADOPT. Please read our homepage.
Application to Adopt, Home Visit, Adoption Donation, References Required, Adoption Contact. For more information, please contact Reggie's foster Mom, Audrey at Audrianne@Voyager.net. Reggie would need to be picked up in Mentor -- We do not ship or transport.

"Toby"
Toby -- Pekingese male puppy -- 5 months old -- 10 pounds -- white & cream
in color, shots are up to date, however, he is too young to be neutered,
this will be done in another month when he is 6 months of age, at the same
time, he will be microchipped. We are working on his house training. Toby
will NOT be adopted until he has been neutered, but we will take
applications on him so by the time this is done, he should have a "forever"
home waiting for him.
Toby was purchased by an elderly lady, who found out he was just too much
for her to handle and was left at the Groomers until a new home could be
found for him, who in turn, placed him with our rescue group. Toby is a
little hard-headed and wants things his own way, if he doesn't like what you
are doing, he will snap. For this reason, an experienced, ADULT ONLY home
will be approved for him. Toby is in southern Ohio but will be moved to
Mentor after his neuter.
If you have any questions, please contact Audrey -- Audrianne@Voyager.net,
in Mentor, Ohio (east of Cleveland) -- Adoption Donation (his vet
bill/expenses) -- Home Visit -- Adoption Contract -- References Required.
I do not ship or transport, Toby would need to be picked up from her
foster Mom, Christine in Mentor, Oh.

"Cocoa-Puff"
Cocoa-Puff -- Peke-A-Poo -- (Pekingese -- Poodle mix) female puppy -- born April 23, 2007.
Cocoa-Puff was given over to rescue by her owner. Cocoa-Puff, was purchased
as a gift, by the daughter, for her Mother who recently lost her husband,
thinking the puppy could help ease the pain of the recent death, however,
the puppy was more than the Mother could handle. Cocoa-Puff has a mind of
her own -- and wants to do as she pleases. Cocoa-Puff is food and toy
aggressive, she does not want others to touch or take away things she
feels belongs to her.
Cocoa-Puff is up to date on all her shots, all puppy shots, booster and
rabies. She is scheduled to be spayed and microchipped on March 14, 2008
and should be ready for her new home 12 days later. Cocoa-Puff gets along
with other well mannered dogs, is learning to walk on a leash and is
almost housebroken.

Gizmo -- Shih-Tzu male puppy.
Gizmo was owner-surrendered by his breeder due to serious illness with the
wife, who was no longer able to care for numerous dogs. Being ill, she

under 10 pounds -- is Chocolate brown in color and acts very much like the puppy he is.
All his puppy shots and booster vaccinations are up to date, he has had his
rabies vaccination, wormed, and was neutered and microchipped on Feb. 01,
2008 -- and is now ready for his "forever" home. Gizmo gets along with
other well mannered dogs and is almost housebroken. Adult family preferred.

"Buster"

Buster is a cream colored male 8 month old Pele. His shots are up to date. He has been neutered and microchipped. Would prefer to adopt him out to a home with only older children. He shows some food aggression. When he is sleeping he doesn't like to be bothered. He is very playfull. Loves attention. Loves cats.
