"Barney"
Barney is a darling little 7 pound, 2 year old, DOB: 03-30-04 --white,
Maltese male, purchased from a pet shop for breeding by his prior owner, who
lived in a condo that did not permit pets, and with two children under 3
years of age, found out she had no time for the dogs. With complaints from
the neighbors, she had to find other arrangements for her two Maltese.
Barney and his partner, Chloe arrived, matted to the skin, full of fleas --
they had never been groomed. 05-05-06 they had to be clipped nearly to
their skin. All shots are now up to date, booster, parvo, rabies, on
07-13-06 they were tested heartworm negative, and Barney was neutered. He
is NOT housebroken, he was trained to use wee pads. He needs a lot of hands
on work and training as to how to live in a house as he was kept in the
laundry room. Barney is now ready for his "forever" home.
This little guy is full of life and is darling. If you have the time to
give this little one all the attention he has lacked in the past, please

"Zoë"
|
Zoë is a little under 12 pound, 6 year old, reddish blond Pekingese
female that was owner-surrendered 02-06 to a shelter as owners were moving and
new apartment does not permit pets. She came with her Peek partner, Leo. If possible,
I would like to place them together. Prior owner said they are good with older
children, crate trained and partly housebroken, they will go to the door and scratch
when they want out.
Zoë has all her shots, booster, parvo, rabies, was tested heartworm
negative, and has been spayed. She may need her teeth cleaned later this
year. Her right eye appears to be damaged due to lack of care with "dry
eye" and she may need daily drops or ointment for moisture. Zoe is ready
for her "forever" home.
Zoe is in a foster home in Columbus, Ohio with Marcy and will be moved to
me along with Leo, as soon as I have room to take them in. If Zoë

"Leo"

Leo is a 5 year old, 15 pound, red with self mask, Pekingese male that was

"Sushi"
|
Sushi is a year old male Peke. He has a gorgeous coat. He is housebroken. Nuetered, Microchipped and up to date on all his shots. He loves to play tug a war and ball. He sometimes howls to get your attention. He loves to lay next to people on the couch while they watch tv. He gets snippy at the vets office - he doesn't like shots and he hates having matted fur removed. He will snap on those occasions. He is also a bit food aggressive otherwise he is a very loving sweet dog. He loves to play with cats.

"Lady"

Lady is a black and tan female Peke in need of a peke expierenced owner. She is between 4-5 years old. She was a puppy mill girl and is shy of strangers. She is up to date on her shots, spayed and microchipped. She would be best suited in an all adult home. She is a perfect lap dog once she gets to know you. She loves to just be held. She is afraid of storms and needs to sit in your lap.

"Gizmo"

Gizmo is a tan and black male Peke. His guessed age is 6-8. He is up to date on his shots nuetered and microchipped. He loves to sit pretty for treats and can sit there a long time until he gets one. He is a talker. He is very sweet and still has alot of energy. He can run up and down stairs chase the other dogs. He does have dry eye and requires medicine in them. He would be the perfect dog for a family looking for a small dog. His adoption fee is $175.00.

"Sam"

This is Sam he is a 3 year old, fully housebroken male. He does some tricks. He went thru a behaviour class due to some biting issues. Since I have had him he hasn't bitten anyone in my home. He has growled when he had a bone or food though. He would be best suited in a home with another small dog to keep him company. He loves to wrestle with one of the other little male Pekes. They sleep on the back of the couch during the day once they get worn out from chasing each other up and down the stairs and wrestling. Please consider one of the other dogs if you have children due to the fact the owner that turned him over has said he has bitten on several occasions.
