"Cody"
ADOPTION PENDING!

Cody, a neglected Shih-Tzu male, was pulled from a KY kill shelter scheduled to be euthanized. His coat was matted to the skin, he was full of fleas and he's so thin -- he's all bones. In order to de-mat and de-flea him, we had to cut his coat way back, but it will grow back out.

Cody is one year of age, gold and white in color, about 12 pounds and as sweet natured as can be. He must have been a stray, going without food for some time, as he is just too nice a dog for anyone to treat this way. Cody stayed with Teresa for a week, prior to being transported to Cleveland, and said while at her home, Cody was completely housebroken and crate trained. Cody has a wonderful, loving personality -- he is a gentle, loving boy -- he is fine with other dogs and our cats.

All his shots are up to date, booster, bordetella, rabies, he is heart worm negative and has been neutered. His new foster Mom, Linda will fatten him up -- then we will post more pictures. We will worm him again prior to being adopted.

Cody is with foster Mom, Linda in Cleveland, Ohio -- if Cody sounds like someone you would like to share your love and home with, please contact Audrey -- Audrianne@oh.rr.com for an Application to Adopt -- Home Visit -- Adoption Donation -- Adoption Contract -- References Required. We do not ship or transport.

"Candy"
Candy was adopted from our rescue 6 years ago to a couple near Cleveland, Ohio. The couple are going into a nursing home and they have returned Candy to us to rehome. Candy is an absolute doll, she has lived in an Assisted Living complex for several years, loves everyone.

When Candy first came to us, she was an owner surrender as the husband had a German Shepherd that did not like small dogs. He attacked Candy one day, shaking her right eye out - the Vet was able to get the eye back in the socket, but she is blind in her right eye and now, 6 years later, has limited vision in her left eye. Sudden approaches on her right side startles her at times -- but she gets along just fine. She is a 7-8 year old, golden fawn and white parti-color and weighs 16 pounds -- foster Mom, Missy says she is putting Candy on a diet.

Candy is up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative and she's spayed. We hope to get her teeth cleaned before adopting her out. Candy is in a foster home in the Cleveland, OH area with foster Mom, Missy.

If you would like to give Candy a permanent home for the rest of her days, (she's healthy - so there should be many) please fill out the Application to Adopt. Home Visit -- Adoption Donation (her expenses) -- Adoption Contract -- References Required. For more information please contact Audrey -- Audrianne@oh.rr.com -- Candy would be picked up at the foster home in Cleveland, OH - We do not ship or transport.

"Sam"
Sam is a very sweet 4 year old, smooth coat Chihuahua male who was an owner turn in to a Pittsburgh, PA shelter. Sam really didn't like living in the noisy shelter and became very unhappy and started to grieve big time, so he was turned over to rescue.

All he needs now is his "forever home" with an adult family as the foster home does not know how he reacts around kids, so no little ones please. I like being on peoples laps, being petted or just snuggling. I also get along with other little dogs.

Sam is in a home in Tionesta, PA with foster Mom, Teri -- if you are willing to give Sam a "forever home" please fill out the Application to Adopt. "Hope"
Hope was owner surrendered to a Pittsburgh shelter as they didn't want a dog anymore. Hope was horrified in the shelter and it was difficult for the staff to tend to her as she was very shy and was afraid of strangers. It was apparent that Hope was abused by her former owners, she is a little shy at first until she learns to trust you and know you won't hurt her. Once she's over the initial period, she'a real love who will lay on your lap and take all the petting and snuggling you are willing to give her.

All shots are up to date, booster, bordetella, rabies, she's been wormed, tested heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped.

I've learned some new stuff at my foster home. I am now completely housebroken and have learned to play with toys, I play with other small dogs and I now know people can be fun. I'm also crate trained and leash broken so we can go for walks together.

Hope is in a foster home in Tionesta, PA with foster Mom, Teri -- if you are willing to give Hope a "forever home" please fill out the Application to Adopt. Home Visit -- Adoption Donation (her expenses) -- Adoption Contract -- References Required. Hope would need to be picked up in the Tionesta, PA area (south east of Erie, PA) -- We do not ship.
