"Hanii"
|
Meet shy little Hanii (Japanese for Honey, which she most definitely is!). This little girl was born on 3-21-05 and will soon be celebrating her 7 month birthday at a whopping 6.5 pounds!
Hanii is slowly coming out of her shell and is finding that being held and cuddled really is ok. She loves to run and play in the yard with her brother Teegi and the other kids at her foster home and is learning the fine art of housetraining. She is also learning that squeaky toys are really fun to play with!
Hanii is currently in foster care in Sioux Falls, SD with 4 shih tzus, 2 Japanese Chins, a papillon and a peke – along with her brother so she is becoming very well-socialized.
"If you think that you would like me to come and live with you please contact Peggy at peg4tzus@msn.com. She can answer any questions you might have as well as get you the adoption application that you will need to fill out. These folks here want me to have a special loving home so you will need to provide personal and vet references as well as have a home visit before I can come and live with you. My adoption donation is $350, and personally I think I’m are worth every penny. I am currently living in Sioux Falls, Sd. However, they will let us travel out of state so don't be afraid to ask about us. I would love to have a special person to love me. See you soon....."
NOTE: All our adoption donations go towards our ever mounting vet bills. Thank you for your support. We are also, always looking for more foster homes. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs we can help. THANK YOU.

"Penny"
|
Penny, a 2 year old, 13 pound Peke, was saved from a shelter with a bad eye. The eye was causing pain and making Penny very unhappy. Since her eye was removed she is now very friendly. She plays with other small dogs and is very loving to her people friends. She can see very well with her other eye.
Since she is still shy, Penny should go only to a home without children, only small dogs and no cats. She is still waiting for her appointment to be spayed. As soon as that is completed she will be ready for adoption.
Penny is with her foster mom in Palm Springs. Plase contact Anna Erving at 949-400-5735, or email pekesaver@cox.net - please include your location and your phone number.

"Suggie Boogie"

|
Such a little love. Suggie Boogie is a great dog, very friendly and happy. She would like to have a yard as she likes to spend time outside on nice days.
Suggie has lost an eye, but this doesn't affect her in anyway. She loves to cuddle and is happy being a cough potato, or roaming the yard. She also likes to go for walks. She should be a great family dog - no cats please unless declawed, and no small children. Suggie is with her foster mom in San Clemente.
Plase contact Anna Erving at 949-400-5735, or email pekesaver@cox.net - please include your location and your phone number.

"Extremely Urgent!"

The holiday dog dumping period is in full swing. Can anyone take a few of these
guys - I'm way past my dog limit, and still trying to get a few more out - but these I know I can't take unless by some miracle I find a foster home. If you do plan to get or can take one, can you let me know, so I can stop worrying?
A611469, "Sable" female Corgi/Spaniel/??? Small to medium older girl, dumped because she was older, extremley sweet and loving, Needs to get out ASAP. Spayed already.
A609314, "Chiquito". If he looks familar, it's cause he was there two weeks
ago - he's back again, the person who adopted him dumped him because he has kennel cough. I already agonized over this boy once, and now he's back to haunt me again. Male, Peke mix, about 6 years old. Has some skin balding, looked like just flea bite dermatitis to me, but I'll gladly
provide antibiotics and skin treatment to anyone who can get him out. Please?????!!!
A611890, Chihuahua in holding, with scabies. Yeah, she's not very nice if you go meet her, but I have yet to meet a Chihuahua who handled the pound very well. Needs to get out though - and scabies is so easily treated with a 2$ Ivermectin injection. Again, if anyone can take him, I'll
provide antibiotics and full skin treatment.
If anyone has any questions, call me- these dogs are driving me crazy, and
I want them to get out!!!
Update 11/26: a call to the shelter revealed the little
Spaniel could be killed tonight, the Chi may be killed before the end of the
week due to its health issue and the Peke may not make it to Monday. The
shelter is closed on Thursday for the holiday which makes it worse.
Update 11/28: I called the shelter this morning and sadly, Chiquito, the Peke, passed away last night. I hope that this sweet little soul is at peace and whole again in Heaven.

"Bella"
Hi, I'm Bella, an 11 month old big, goofy and lovable pup in search of a home. I'm currentlly living in a foster home in the West Village with my two foster moms and foster sisters, a 7 year old dog and a 5 month old kitten. I'm looking for a good home with a loving, interested owner who will take me running and will love me as much as I know I will come to love them. I am still in a puppy faze and have a lot of energy, so I will be need to go out a lot. A work at home mom or dad would be best for me.
I lived on the streets for the last few months in Florida but people aren't sure how long exactly since I am so friendly and loving. It seems I had an owner at one time, but when I was found I had no collar and was emaciated, tick infested and sick. I am now almost completely healthy, spayed and have all my shots. I am ready for a permanent home.
Love Bella
