"Lily"
Hello, I'm Lily and I'm very sweet! I was turned into a public shelter in confusing circumstances and stayed there for weeks. The shelter, where they thought I was very sweet with people, was happy to have me go to a rescue! My foster mom says that I'm very polite and go outside for potty or use a pad if needed. I walk pretty well on a leash well and get along great with other dogs in the home if given time to be properly introduced. I get very excited at first, but now I'm a playmate and roommate with boy dogs and girl dogs my own size. I'm a bigger Maltese at over 12 lbs - and a long legged girl - but, hey, more sweetness to love! I also don't mind being groomed, and I stay pretty clean. My foster mom says that I should be in a great adult home that wants a beautiful, affectionate, lively yet cuddly, small dog in their home (a home with no small children or cats please). I am spayed and up to date with routine vaccinations, as well as microchipped.
If you are interested in giving me a forever home, please contact my foster mom at margaretsolveig@aol.com.

"Layla"
Beautiful Blonde Yorkie - Adorable & Adoptable
Layla is a breeder release. She just turned 7 yrs young this month & weighs 9lbs 9oz. She's a gorgeous yorkie with big brown eyes, a silky blonde coat, and a smile that makes your heart melt (Yes..she actually smiles). Layla is extremely affectionate & loves to curl up in my lap. She IS potty trained, uses the doggie door/stairs, gets along well with other animals (including cats) and will make a wonderful addition to someone's home. She has been spayed, had her dental, and up to date on shots. Layla needs a small family/couple/person, without a busy/ hectic lifestyle, that's going to have the time to give her the attention she needs. I feel it's best that she not be placed into a home with small children, but teens should be fine. Her adoption fee is $250. If you would like to inquire about adopting Layla, please visit our website at www.chrisrescueangels.com. **An application process, which includes a home visit, is required. Thank You:-)

"Captain"
Captain is a four to five year old poodle boy. He came out of a puppymill and we are hoping to find a home for him as a house dog now. He weighs about 7 to 8 lbs so he is a small mini.
Captain came in to our rescue with a large schnoodle girl named Tenille. The two of them have lived at the puppymill together all their lives, caged. Captain is a shy dog but not a biter. He is good natured and was very easy to groom. We wrap a size 3 toddler diaper around his middle until he is housebroken. Works very well on the boys. Captain will be neutered, have a dental and be brought up to date on shots before leaving our rescue. Contact us for an application.

"Toy"

|
Toy is a 7.5 lb. spayed female Yorkshire Terrier, 8 yrs.old. She's very friendly, loves people but no kids please. She is afraid of them because of her small size. She is papertrained.
Toy is a puppymill survivor, she came to us in very bad shape. We had a few mammary cysts removed, her knees are a little wobbly because of luxating patella and she lost most of her teeth in a dental. She's a special needs little girl with collapsing trachea problems. If you have a big enough heart to take Toy into your home, she will give you many years of love and loyalty. She deserves a home of her own with loads of attention.
Adoption Donation $175.00. Toy in located in Milwaukee, WI. Contact rmoody@milwpc.com for information on adopting this special needs sweetheart.

"Rhett and Scarlett"

|
Rhett and Scarlett are 2 senior pekingese who were left at Knoxville Animal Center to be put down when their owner was put on life support. The family didn't stay at the shelter long enough, or care enough to tell the staff their names. They thought they were going to be put down immediately. Their mother is not even dead yet!!!!!!
The shelter is great and called PCA peke rescue. Our fosters are full in Knoxville, Tn. and they will be staying with a great short term foster mom. We need a great home nearby very quickly. Help save these 2 seniors and please leave provisions for your beloved pekes!!
They have always been together and need to stay together. They have lost everything including there names. Help!
Update: May 2004
Renamed Beau and Trixie, these two are such little characters. They like to chase the horses and eat the great dane's food at their foster home. Still hoping to find a home of their own soon.

"Perry"
|
Perry is a very quiet and gentle little boy who weighs 11.5 lbs. His coat is white with tan markings. He is about 3-4 years old.
Perry was born with an eye condition and his vision is not great but he can see ok. He requires tear drops daily.
Perry was found on the streets of West LA, tired and dirty. He is shy at first but loves to cuddle and gets along well with other dogs..cats??? Perry would make a great dog for a family without children as fast moves can scare him. He is current on all shots and is neutered.
Perry wants you to call his foster mom and think about giving him his forever home. He is living in Southern Calif, San Clemente.
Application to Adopt, Adoption Contract, Adoption fee required.
