This sweet young thing wandered up today with stickers caught in her coat. No idea where or why she is alone, other than, she is so-o-o very little & all by herself!

She appears to be 2-3 mos. old, F, a Schnauzer/Scottie mix & cannot weigh more than 4 lbs. She has a very congenial personality. She is looking for a home, as no one seems to be looking for her... What a shame!!

Update:
After officially meeting Squirt today & taking these pics, I am under the impression that she is either purebred wire-haired Daschund or a Dauzer mix. She is sweet & seemingly house trained as she will only go potty outside (so far)!! She had a bath & was very dainty about it. She is apprx. 2-3 mos old?, weighs apprx. 4-6 lbs. & does not get under foot... for an ole lady like me, that says alot! She loves sitting in your lap & being close to someone. She does well with everyone & just makes you laugh with her expressions.

Hi my a name is Lu Lu (after Troy Polamalu). I came to Pom Prints Rescue on 4/10/2009. I am a cream sable (also referred to as a light wolf sable) Pomeranian. I am 6 months old and wiegh about 11 lbs. I am going to be a bigger pom referred to as a "throw back". I was surrendered by my family because of my human Dad and sister's allergies. They are very heartbroken they had to give me up and love me very much. I am a very sweet girl. I LOVE to give you kisses. I am potty pad and outdoor trained. I am UTD on my vaccines and will be spay in the next few weeks. I get along with dogs of all sizes and I like cats too.

This is Ginger. She came to Pom Prints rescue on 3/8/2009. She a red Pom and is about 6 years old. She weighs 11.1 lbs. She was rescued from a puppy mill.

Ginger will come over to you, and she loves when you pet her. She is a sweet girl, who will dance for treats. Once she is in your lap she does not want to get down. She warms up to humans very nicely and realizes they are not all bad. She will greet you when you come home. She loves to be groomed and does not mind having a nail trim. She is housebroken, and will go outside and on the piddle pad. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She also likes to lay in a crate because she feels safe there. She due to be spayed and vaccinated in the next few weeks.

We are currently accepting applications for Ginger. A home visit and vet reference are required. We do not adopt out of state unless you are within one hour from us.

Lady is a yellow lab mix with a shining personality, though she came to us with a very sad story. She had been abandoned in her back yard with her new litter of puppies. By the time we had gotten to her, all of the puppies had died. We rushed her into the hospital to get her medically examined. We had to carry her inside because she was paralyzed with fear. It turns out she also had heartworms. She has been treated now, and has also been spayed.

Lady is healthy and ready to go to her new home! She has come a long way, she now walks on a leash and knows how to "sit". She is still a little cautious on her walks, but she has improved tremendously! The nice woman who brought her in takes her for a walk almost every night.

Can you give this girl the love, attention, and training she deserves?

Lady will need some training; she will need to learn some manners. Once she gets attached to somebody, she gets overexcited to see that person. It's sweet, but she just goes wild. She is a very special dog that needs a very special home with somebody who can work with her and give her the training she needs.

UPDATE 1/7/09: Lady is now fully recovered from her heartworm treatment. She loves to run around and play with other dogs. She also enjoys chasing after tennis balls. She is very affectionate and loves attention. She is back up to a healthy weight now too.

Reggie is a 4 year old pit bull mix. He LOVES people! He was found as a stray when he was a puppy and adopted out by an older couple, but they couldn't handle his strength. He is very strong and needs someone who will be strong with him. He does know how to walk on a leash properly now (with the right people). He's well-trained in basic obedience. He can Sit, Wait, Down, he even speaks! If exercised everyday, he is a calm house guest. He has been known to act aggressively towards other high-level energy dogs. He would be best suited in a home without other high-level energy dogs, and with someone who will be able to walk him daily and can handle his strength. He would make a great running partner!

We have had Reggie for over 2 years, and it is time for him to find his own home! Reggie would make a great pet! Stop by and see him! He has been here for quite a while, and would LOVE to join your family!

UPDATE 2/19/09: Reggie is doing so well in his foster home! He is being socialized with other dogs everyday, and playing with them. He hasn't attacked another dog since he has been there. He is getting daily exercise, and receiving more training. PLEASE CALL REGGIE'S FOSTER FAMILY FOR MORE INFORMATION!

Someone found me running around on the street and brought me into Briarcliff. I am about 3 years old. I am a little shy, but so sweet! I love to be petted and loved on. I have heartworms, and will start treatment after I recover from my spay on 1/7/09.

UPDATE 1/15/09:

I am much more friendly now to everybody! I love to go on walks and sit in your lap! I would do well with other dogs, cats, and even children!

UPDATE 2/5/09:

I am done with my heartworm treatment. For the next 4 months (5/25/09), I will need restricted activity. I will not be allowed to run around or jump. I will be leash walked to use the bathroom outside, and should not be let off-leash to run freely.
