"Fancy and her Pups"
Fancy is a very big solid girl who is 2 years old, a mix of Great Dane and
Yellow Lab. You better be prepared for big hugs when you meet Fancy as she
loves to show her affection in the gentlest of hugs. She is a mild mannered,
calm and dignified dog. A Beauty, she is fawn and white, not as tall as a
Dane but as solid. She is a special dog who through no fault of her own, is
homeless and needs a family or special person to love. Fancy came into
rescue with five puppies. They are Hoshi, Josey, Kishi, Nascha and Louis the
only male.
The puppies are a delightful blend of Great Dane, Yellow Lab, Black Lab and
Chow-Chow. You cannot possibly pick a bad one out of this bunch, they are
all like their mom, sweet, laid back and totally lovable. To be spayed and
neutered February 22, then they can go to their adoptive homes.

"Carolina"
|
Carolina is a beauty only 21 lbs full grown with a stub tail, white with yellow spots. Standard Rat Terrier mixed with ? she is a playful dog who is a little coy at times. She is 14-1/2" tall so is at the short end of standard and 17" long. She is a young adult at one year old. She desperately wants someone to be nice to her so she can return the love as she has a huge capacity for love. Her ears do not stand up, part of what she is mixed with no doubt but it all works for her to make her so cute. She is very grateful for any attention shown to her as she has not received much love from people in the past but that has not affected her ability to keep the faith that someone will come along and love her - gotta love dogs for that. "Eddie"
|
Eddie is 5 yrs. old, will be 6 in Oct. He is neutered as well as housebroken. He's had no obedience training but is a VERY smart boy. Eddie lives with an 8 year old child and Ed is friendly with him, however he is very leary of, and can be snippy with, strange children and adult men.
I'd like to find him a home with someone who has the time to give him the special attention he needs. He is a VERY loving and loyal dog....you can't give him enough attention.

"Dixie"
Dixie is three years old, is very good with Children, good with other dogs ( male ) but does not get along well with other female dogs. She is very much a house dog, but does love to get out and run. She loves to play ball and ride in the car. She does well on a leash, sits, stays. But she does have a aggressive side to her. She has never bitten anyone. She is very territorial. She has never been away from me and my husband. We found her when she was around 4 weeks old. But we now have to find a very "LOVING" home for her due to our living situation, she has to stay confined and she is not a happy girl with this.
Dixie is spayed and is up to date on all her shots. She does have an ear problem nothing major --she gets ear infections very easily so she is on medication for that and will be for the rest of her life. One droper once a week. (not expensive) other then that she is in very good health, Vet says she has the prettiest white healthy teeth he has seen in a very long time.
"PLEASE" only someone that can give her lots of love and understanding please contact me. she needs someone that can work with her on her temperment. fenced yard only !!

"Rocky"
We found Rocky in November of 2004. After locating the owner we were told Rocky was not wanted anymore. Rocky has ben to the vet for all his shots. He is already neutered. The Vet said he's still a pup, probably about one year old. He weighs 60lbs.
Rocky is quite playful. I took him over to a friend's house that had 2 Jack Russels, he didn't seem to mind them at all! We're hoping to find someone that has a lot of time for him, to play with him and to take him for walks.
I'm not so sure that he knows any commands yet, so he'll probably need some training.

"Pogo"
Pogo is a happy Am Staff - ready for love and a human to call her own. She came to us after she was found in Savannah Georgia, obviously having just weaned a litter of pups.
Pogo is not yet spayed (is now scheduled for Spay Surgery in two weeks) - but will be prior to or at adoption. She is current on shots and healthy.
This is an energetic girl who loves to romp and play, she gets along well with other dogs - as long as they are ready to play also! She is learning housetraining - and is very intelligent, curious and loves every human she sees.
If you're looking for a pet for your kids to play with that will wear them out - or if you're an outdoor type who wants a happy constant companion - Pogo is the girl for you!

"Oscar & Wylie"
Oscar the grouch, and Wylie Coyote are two wonderful male poms (one pom
mix, one small pom) both altered and current shots, who need to be
placed in a forever family home together. Both sweeties were rescued
from kill shelters within the past year and have been "loved" and
"pampered". They need conversation, attention, affection, a fenced yard
where they can play and lots of love. They are house broken and are
very good about "telling" you when they have to go out.
Oscar and Wylie are big clowns, love to play with each other, and they are family in my home
(i.e. furniture has not been off limits, they eat and drink whenever
they want, and have not been crated). They do not enjoy being around
small children, placed in a room away from family or gruff/loud men.

"Tasha"
|
Tasha is an 11 year-old purebred spayed female English Springer Spaniel. Tasha is a wonderfully sweet dog, she gets along with other dogs, is housebroken, loves water and is overall a great companion. Her owner is ONLY giving her up, because she is moving into an apartment in Washington, DC that does not allow pets.
Tasha has full run of the house and sleeps in her owner's bedroom. She will be great in an all adult household, where she will be loved and constantly praised for being such a wonderful dog.
