Marlowe was born of a very small Labrador mom and standard Manchester Terrier father. As a result, he may be of smaller build than a regular Lab and at his current weight, we are predicting he will be 40-45 lbs when fully grown. He is a shy pup and will be best with a sensitive, caring adopter. He will bond strongly and you will have a wonderful companion. He is used to living inside, having a soft blanket to sleep on and watching tv. Not too spoiled! He is being leash and obedience trained and is picking it up quickly. This is a nice, quiet lad with a heart of gold. Currently paper trained. Neutered and vaccinated.

Nicolette is a happy, outgoing pup who will most likely grow to be a friendly and charming adult. She shows signs of being a first class companion. With a slender athletic build, she is a playful Lab mixed with Manchester Terrier (how did that happen??!!) that has a beautiful shiny black coat with a white bib. She may grow to almost Lab size but most likely will maintain her slender body style thanks to the MT in her. She adores attention and is more than happy to be affectionate to anyone who wants her. She is also happy to sleep with people during her downtime. She is now being introduced to leash and obedience training. Paper trained. 4 months old. Spayed and vaccinated.

Leif will be a big baby when grown. His personality now is shy and so incredibly sweet. An incredible mix of Black Lab and Manchester Terrier, love (I'm being nice, here) always finds a way. He is a boldly colored young 4 month old pup who is not an outgoing type, he would rather be a home-body curled up in his bed. He enjoys walks but not socializing all that much. He is very content to only know a few good friends and doesn't have the need to introduce himself to everyone. He seems to like other dogs but only if they are nice. He would love to find that kind of master, someone he can bond to and take walks with and share a quiet existence. He most likely will grow to almost Lab size, possibly 50+ lbs. Paper trained. He is being introduced to leash and obedience training and is picking it up very easily. Neutered and vaccinated.

Pookie looks like a miniature Lab. With the father being standard Manchester Terrier and the mother a very small Lab, she will most likely be a very small Lab-like dog. She is a hoot, has many entertaining moods, sometimes shy, sometimes devil-dog who wants to play! She is learning leash and obedience training just starting now and is picking it up quickly so this is an intelligent little one. If you like the color, shine and short coat of the Black Lab but do not want the size, this is going to be a good dog for you. From what we can tell, she will maintain a slender build and athletic body, and appear to be a smaller version of a Black Lab. Spayed and vaccinated. Adoption fee required.

This sweet girl is a July-strain of American Foxhound who was picked up by animal control. She has had her shots - including rabies and has been spayed. She tested a "mild" positive for heartworms, but treatment is now complete and she did great!! She is very sweet, easy-going, quiet, and crate-trained. This little sweetheart is Sammy. She is a beautiful little tricolor Beagle. She came to us from a wonderful family who felt Sammy just wasn't happy with them.

Sammy has been spayed, she is current on her vaccinations, current on heart worm prevention, as well as Front Line. Sammy is housebroken & crate trained. She is a very loving little gal with a lot of love to offer. She does great with other dogs, but can be a little bit shy when she first meets new people due to lack of socialization from the breeder her family adopted her from. However, when she warms up to you she is the most loving little dog you could ever meet. She loves to have you just sit and pet her and she will follow you where ever you go!!

"Bubba"

This Handsome Boy is Bubba. He came to us from a good Samaritan who took Bubba in when his owner passed away. She wasn't able to keep Bubba but brought him to our rescue so that we could find him a Loving family.

Bubba is neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and front-line. He is housebroken & crate trained. He also has basic obedience training.

Bubba is a Big Boy but he is just a big Teddy bear!! He is the sweetest Rottie and just wants a family he can shower with Rottie Kisses. Bubba does Great with other dogs, children, and even cats!!

Sheava is a spayed, very beautiful Chocolate Lab/Pit bull mix. She is very loving but has a problem with other dogs. Not all dogs it would seem though, since we have three and have had her with many others at times. Sheava has not bitten anyone, but has gotten in a fight with the neighbors' dog twice now.

Sheava is 22" at the shoulders and is very obedient. She loves kids and loves to swim (that's the Lab in her). She's been to two (2) obedience schools and is social with most other dogs. We have 3 others with no problems and have had other dogs over the house with no issues. Her best friend is our Yellow Lab. She is very strong and muscular and can jump very high. A 6ft fence would be a must and even then if the terrain is right she can scale that. I found that a small run of bailing wire put horizontally from the top of the fence about 8 inches off prevents her from getting the momentum to scale the wall.

Sheava is completely housebroken and loves to snuggle with my son or who ever else is willing to have her.

Max is a very handsome dog. He is kind and sweet and just wants to please. He is great with kids and other dogs. He will be 3 years old on March 21, 2004. He is approx. 100 lbs. He has been neutered and has had obedience school but I don't know how much he remembers because I haven't been too good at enforcing the commands.

Max loves to walk on a leash and explore the outside world. He is, of course, protective but only to strange men that come in the backyard (i.e. pool guy, gardners). He has never attacked. He just stands there and barks and lets them know who's boss. I don't know how he is with cats because he has never been around a cat. Maybe you could help me figure out his breed. I adopted him from a cardboard box in Lake Arrowhead when he was 10 weeks old and had an injured front leg. There were no parents.

Max would be a great family dog and he has no issues with being left alone.
