"Mirage"

Mirage is about four years old. She is a long haired chihuahua from a puppymill. She is very fearful but will get use to one or two people. Mirage weighs about 8 lbs. She has a cute personality but will probably never be a dog that likes to be petted. She may learn to sit next to your chair. We dont know for sure what happened to her, probably just too many days with out any attention from her human caretakers and she became feral. She still needs a good home where someone will look out for her and tend to her needs. She will be spayed, have a dental and be up to date on shots before leaving our rescue. Contact bonnwright@aol.com for an application. Fenced yard only, no small children. Adoption fee is a $200. donation to our rescue medical fund.

"Angel Eyes"
Angel Eyes has spent her entire life in a cage at a kennel having puppies for her owner. Now she is here looking for a home where she can be a house dog and get all the attention she has missed out on. She is friendly , loves people , and gets along with other dogs and cats. She will make a wonderful pet with just a bit of training. I would say she is six to seven years of age. We named her because of her big beautiful eyes. Angel Eyes will be spayed , have a dental and be brought up to date on shots before leaving our rescue. We are housebreaking her to newspaper. Her adoption fee is a $250 donation to our rescue medical fund. Shihtzus make wonderful companions. They have great personalitys but do require regular grooming.

"Champ"
Champ is three years old and both the vet and trainer say boxer but not able to say for sure as she is small due to poor nutrition. I have had her for two weeks and she has received all her shots and is scheduled to be spayed January 6, 2004. I will pay all expenses and will transport to new home. She is currently being trained with a pinch collar which I used after trying the halti and a training collar - she is responding to her name, sit, hold and stay.

Champ is not aggressive when eating and is sharing toys with my two dogs, a golden retriever and a Dalmatian. She is very affectionate, crate trained, house trained and all in all a perfect dog with the exception of cats and small dogs - but having spent three years tied to a tree the trainer says she would have had to defend herself from small animals.

If I did not have the two cats and an older dog she would have a forever home with me - all she needs is love and training and she will be a wonderful addition to any family. I call her the velcro dog - she loves to be with me.

Please feel free to call me at 800-800-8586, extension 1337 Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
