"Precious"
Precious continues to surprise me by being a wonderful boy. He has not tried to nip me and has learned the routine here and gives me no problem what so ever. I still crate him when strangers are here and he is not the best with other dogs. He is a beautiful pekingese with a gorgeous coat and I had no trouble grooming him..................... Adoption information............... Precious is a small male pekingese who's owner had to go on without him. Precious was given over to a dog rescue for rehoming. He looks to have some show quality lines behind him . He is a beautiful peke with loads of hair and a very flat face and a nice wrinkle on his nose. For the most part he is good with his caregiver. I even got a few kisses today. He will, however, go after strangers and likes to bully smaller dogs. He is a great guard dog. If you have room in your heart and your home to take responsibility for this wayward boy, email me for an application. He is lonesome , he needs a new owner and a forever home this time with someone that understands pekingese. His adoption fee is a $200 donation to our rescue medical fund. If you cant adopt a pet right now, you can still help the rescue dogs by donating to their ongoing care. Send your donation thru Paypal to LimberlostDogs@aol.com to help out, or email for our snail mail address. It is appreciated.

"Sweet Pea"
Update on Sweet Pea. She is using her legs almost normally. I now think her leg problems were due to dehydration when she was very small. Exercise and good food is helping her.. She is six months old. Email only, no phone calls please..... Sweet Pea is a darling little pekingese girl that came to our rescue because of back leg deformities. I had her xrayed but nothing conclusive was found. No breaks . I think she was probably born that way. Her hips are rigid and although one leg is strong and will probably hold her weight, the other turns sideways and is limp. Sweet Pea is starting to walk on her own , we first thought she would need a wheel cart.. Puppies have a way of compensating for their disabilities. She is a bit shy from not being handled but with attention will overcome it , She is quiet and does like people. Sweet Pea will be up to date on shots before leaving our rescue. No small children please. I am looking for a select home for this little treasure. She will need someone with the motivation and capability of providing her with future medical treatment for her legs if she needs it. Email me for an application if you are interested in giving Sweet Pea a forever home. She is almost four months old. Sweet Peas adoption fee is a $350 donation to our rescue medical fund.

"Mandy (left) & Candy (right)"

Candy is approximately 9-12 months old. She is an American Pitbull Terrier. She does great with other dogs and cats.

Mandy is her very best buddy. She is approximately 6 months old. She gets along well with dogs and cats as well. They were found tied to a clothes line, tangled together so badly that neither one of them could move. They had no food, water, or shelter.

I'm so glad we were able to rescue these babies. I would love to find a warm, loving home that would be willing to welcome both of these sweet girls into their lives. They will both be completely vetted prior to placement. A small adoption fee is required.

Mandy is the little red one and Candy is the little red and white one. These photos were e-mailed to me before I picked them up from the shelter.
