I have had professional dog training, and walk well on a leash and know basic commands like sit, stay and come. I am housebroken and never chew furniture or my person's belongings. I'm pretty quiet and I'm a good traveler. I've been spayed, have had routine veteranarian visits and I'm up to date on all of my shots. My people have a 16 month old who jumps on me and chases me a lot and I just can't get use to it. I need a home where there are no small children.

 Princess is a spayed English Bulldog. I resuced her from a shelter over a yr. ago. She is between 4-5 years old. Princess has spina bifida. She is mobile, but is incontinent. She does wear a diaper. |
Odie is a 7 year old Jack Russell Terrier/Fox Terrier. He is house trained and knows simple tricks such as sit, stay and shake. He is neutered and is up to date on his shots. He gets along well with other dogs as long as he first meets them in neutral territory such as a dog park. He doesn't get along well with cats. Odie must live in a home with adults or teenagers. He doesn't like being hugged and he once bit a child that tried to hug him. I would be willing to transport him to a new home anywhere in California or possibly the surrounding states if it is needed.

After nearly two weeks at our house, she is calmed down from her days "on the streets." She is a "mid-size" dog, about 50 lbs, very loving and playful - definitely a people person! She is healthy and loves to run. She will be spayed before adoption. A smart girl who has learned a lot since she's been here, she would still benefit from a round of obedience training to develop her full capacity as a great companion. A perfect dog for someone who hikes or needs to increase their exercise. She loves to be out and trotting! We know there's got to be someone out there who would love this little dog. We'll be happy to bring her to meet folks anywhere in the valley if they can't get to us.

Conner is approximately 7 to 8 months old. He weighs forty plus pounds. He is as healthy as a dog could ever be. They say he is an Australian Shepherd mix. However, he looks like a black German Shepherd mix to me. He is a big baby who loves his food, me, other dogs and sleeping on the bed. He adores exercise and play. I have had Conner since he was five weeks old when he was found all alone. He is a wonderful guy and would be happier in a home with other dogs. He allows small dogs to beat him up and all he ever does is get them wet by putting his mouth on them. He does not have a mean bone in his body. He is a fabulous watch dog and barks when he hears any noise. He is an inside dog who goes out to play and potty. However, he is so paper trained that he would rather use his paper in the house. He loves walking on his leash but I have too little time to do this very often. Conner is neutered and has had all his shots plus Bordetella vaccine. He comes with tags, collar, harness and leash, and with tons of toys and a bed. He is on Heart Guard and Frontline and is current. I give him one Pet Tab every day and he loves it. Conner has only been loved in his life so he will make a great friend to a single woman or a married couple. I am not sure how Conner will behave around younger children but he loves teenagers. I am desperately seeking help for two little guys I have rescued. They were left in the Pike County Animal Shelter in Pikeville, KY. They have been neglected and abused severly. I ended up taking them both with me and treating them for several disorders. They are well now. Up-to-date on shots and both are neutered. I have been told that they are either Keeshond or Pekingese mixed. They are sweet boys but a little wary of new people due to the treatment they have dealt with in their young lives. They are not a year old yet, but should be getting fairly close. I am not able to keep them due to lack of room and time on my part. I have had them for a couple of months and I keep trying, unsuccessfully, to find someone to help us.
Bud is the white one and the grey one is his full brother Lou. They are sweet boys and like attention once they feel safe with the person. They really need to find their forever home very soon.
