Born 05-01-06 -- Hound is a Shepherd mix -- around 65 pounds with a somewhat reserve personality. He is on the shy side for the first 5-10 minutes of your visit with him -- once he knows you are a friend -- he gently starts to come to you. Hound is a young male -- a quiet teen might be the right combination for him -- or a quiet adult household. Rosa is a four to five year old chihuahua girl, just released to our rescue from a kennel. She is looking for a home as a house dog now after years of being caged and having puppies for someone. She is a small chihuahua, about six lbs. She is a beautiful silver blue and white color. She is friendly to people and good with other dogs. She is not use to being picked up but that will come with time. She is easy to handle and not a biter. We are housebreaking her to newspaper. She is sure happy to be here.

Putz is an approximately two to three year old rat terrier purebred. He is a neutered male. Putz gets along with everyone, even cats. He loves being in the house and is very affectionate. He wll make a good pet for someone. Putz was taken in and given to rescue when he would not leave the yard of a country home. He apparantly was lost or dumped out in the country and didnt know where to go or what to do. They called him the dog that wouldn't go away. I do believe he was abused in his previous home. Possibly kicked and hit. He was found in northern wisconsin. He is housebroken and is just a tad shy of strangers and fast movements. He will learn to trust. He is leash trained and loves a walk.
