   Hi! We are Red and Sox. We are father and son. Red is a 5 year old red and white Australian Shepherd/ Lab Mix and Sox is a 2 year old black, white, and brown Lab Mix. Our former owner took us to the veternarian clinic one day and never came back to pick us up. We were taken to Head To Tail, where we were neutered and vaccinated. We are very friendly and loving dogs. Sox is a little shy of people at first, but once you spend some time with him, he is fine. We would love someone to adopt us both, since we have been together so long, but we understand if you have to split us up. |

I am a sweet and friendly dog. I am up to date on all my vaccinations and I have been spayed. I have also had obedience training. I need a loving home where everything is about me!  Turkish is a 2 year old Blue Tick Hound Mix. He is up to date on all vaccinations and he has been neutered. After being adopted from the Birmingham Humane Society as a puppy, Turkish was raised indoors by his family. He has just become an outside dog in the last 6 months. After hearing the news of a new born baby to be in the house, he gladly gave up his spot in order to make room. But now he is not getting that much attention being outside, so he is looking for a new home. Turkish would love to have space to run and play, but he is mostly concerned with having SOMEONE who will spend lots of time with him, throwing the ball and walking around the neighborhood. This pup is Daisy. She is about 8 months old. She is a Boxer Bulldog mix. She has been tested with children and dogs and did excellent. She has a touch of food aggression towards her cage mate but that is because she was extremely thin when I pull her out of the shelter. She has no problems with me touching her food while she eats. She gets better day by day. Daisy is a shelter dog that I pulled the night before she was due to be put down. But, she still belongs to the shelter. Adoption fee is $10.00. Daisy will be spayed upon adoption and may be picked up from the Vet after the surgery.

This is Trouble. A sweet, loving, playful, and gentle Jack Russell mix. She is about 7 months old. Trouble is a good little girl with lots of energy. She loves to play and have her belly rubbed. She has been tested with dogs, cats, food and children and does fine! Trouble stands about 14 inches at her shoulders. She looks like she will be a medium sized dog when grown. Trouble's adoption fee is $10.00. Trouble will be spayed upon adoption and may be picked up from the Vet after the surgery.

She is available now for adoption. We will not place her in a home with children; she is a very sweet dog, but because she is a 'stray' we don't know her entire history, and she was very ill, shy, underweight when we rescued her. She also had Lymes Disease (now treated and she's recovered from it). We will not risk putting her in a home where she may be discarded again. We want a forever home for her.
Adopters may submit a nonbinding application, undergo a background check, including home inspection, vet references, and work references. Because of her neglected background, we will not place her with children, even though she is good tempered. She is good with other dogs.

"Shayla" is a 9 year old AKC registered german shepard. She is fully housetrained and knows some obedience commands. She is wonderful with kids of all ages. She is good with some dogs, but is dominant. I am not sure how she is with cats, but I think that she would be okay. She is in very good health, with no medical problems. She is great with all people, men and women. She is not used to a crate, but can be left in the house loose because she does not chew or get into things.
Her adoption fee is $100 which includes her spay, HW test, and all vaccinations.
