"Sophia"
Sophia is a sweet natured, under 6 pound, white long coat female Chihuahua. Still under 2 years of age -- DOB: 08-11-06 -- she has many, many more years of love to give to her favorite people.
Sophia has just been moved to Mentor from her foster home in Columbus, OH where she lived with 2 other Chihuahuas and was in daily contact with several foster children. Needless to say, Sophia has a wonderful, loving personality -- and is just waiting for her "forever & ever" home.
All shots are up to date, booster, rabies, she is heartworm negative, she has been spayed and microchipped. Marcy, her foster Mom, said she is 99% housebroken - with so many foster children to care for -- Marcy does not see Sophia at the door asking to go out. I like to place my rescue Chihuahuas with other Chihuahuas -- as they seem to love being in a pack with each other - but, if you are retired, or work out of your home -- Sophia just might be the right one for you.
We do not have a shelter, all rescues are in foster homes -- Dogs are not shown without first being approved to adopt. Please do not ask to come out and see what we have available unless you have an APPROVED APPLICATION TO ADOPT. Please read our home page.

"Porscha"
Porscha, a darling little one year old, chocolate and tan, female Min-Pin
was purchased from a show breeder in Tennessee to compliment their current
breeding/showing stock. Porscha was owner-surrendered as the wife is ill
and has too many dogs to care for. They are small hobby/show/breeders who
take excellent care of their dogs.
Porscha was born on 05-10-07 -- she weighs under 10 pounds. All
her shots are up to date, she is heartworm negative -- scheduled to be
spayed and microchipped on Aug 06, 2008, thus she would be available for
adoption around Aug. 20th.
This little girl has tons and tons of energy, a home with a fenced-in yard
is preferred for that reason. Porscha loves to run and play -- a pal her
size would be super -- or a lap she could call her own would be desirable.
She is not housebroken, but she will use the doggie door -- in the past, she
was always caged -- being free is a new experience for her. If this is the

"Pudgie"

Pudgie is 4-6 years of age, fawn in color, about 15 lbs. He was an
owner-surrender to the shelter as a child blew in his face and he bit the
child. He is very nice with the shelter workers. Adult home only, we will
not place him with children.
Pudgie is up to date on all his shots and is neutered. At the present he is
in a foster home in Waverly, OH (south of Columbus) with foster Mom, Teresa
being evaluated. Pudgie would be picked up at his foster home, we DO NOT
ship or transport. If you are interested in adopting Pudgie, please fill

"Sherry"
Sherry and her breeding partner, Romeo were owner surrendered due to moving and niece could not take the dogs. Always caged, used for breeding, not socialized or housebroken they arrived flea infested. Sherry is a red/fawn with a black mask and is a very loving 12 pound - 5 year old girl, now fully vetted and housebroken.

"Friday"
Friday, cream/light fawn, 2 years old, about 18 lbs, found with a cardboard name tag by a local policeman. Leash trained, completely vetted, housebroken and very loving.

"Johnny"

Johnny was one year old on Nov. 17, 2006 -- and turned over to a member of the Allegheny Pekingese Club. He is very sweet and loving to older children, other dogs but not cats. He is current with all his shots, crate trained, and is neutered. He is potty trained to a pee pad and will go outdoors to potty if monitored. He's as cute as a bug and will not have any problem finding a family to love him.
