Theo is about 2-3 years of age, all shots up to date, about 12 pounds, mostly black & white in color. Theo likes kids, he is good with preschoolers, and other small pets.

Theo's current Mom has 4 children, but due to circumstances, must also care for her daughters 4 children -- during 4-day weekends and with 8 young children, Theo's outdoor potty visits sometimes get missed, he will need help with his potty training, of regular, scheduled, outdoor potty breaks.

Theo will be arriving in on June 12th and will be with foster Mom, Jennie, in Mentor, OH.

Foster homes are desperately needed for the many toy and small breeds we take in as owner-surrenders or ones that we pull from various shelters. We need foster homes in Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula and Cuyahoga Counties (Ohio). WE completely vet all of our dogs, shots up to date, heartworm tested, spayed, neutered, teeth cleaned if needed, and microchipped. All the foster home needs to do is to give plenty of love, give fresh water and good wholesome food and have the dogs bathed and groomed as needed, treat them as they were part of the family. We are turning away some wonderful little ones due to LACK OF FOSTER HOMES. Please, please -- think about becoming a foster parent.

We do not have a shelter, all rescues are in foster homes. Dogs are NOT shown without first being approved to adopt. Please DO NOT ask to come out and see what we have available -- unless you have an APPROVED APPLICATION TO ADOPT.

Sugar, Pekingese female, just came into rescue, now in a foster home with Jennie in Mentor, OH -- More information will be posted as soon as she sees our Veterinarian. She has a wonderful, loving personality. Gives many kisses and loves to sleep in bed with you. Sugar will use piddle pads. Sugar was found as a stray, the person who found her advertised her being found in the local papers for a month, no one claimed her, so she was turned over to rescue.

Peanut is a darling little Maltese male. 7-9 years of age. 7-8 pounds. White in color. Up to date on all his shots, booster, parvo and rabies. Is neutered -- will potty on piddle pads or will potty outside when taken. He gets along with other small dogs. Is quiet, loves people and is waiting for that special lap to sit in. Peanut is up for adoption as his owner's home is in foreclosure and they can only take 3 other dogs with them in their move, so several others are up for adoption. Peanut will be moved shortly into a foster home in Mentor with Angela.

Buzz is a 12 year old, 13 pound, neutered Pekingese male, reddish fawn in color with some white. When younger, he probably had a black mask, now shows his grey muzzle with pride. Unfortunately for Buzz, his Mistress passed away and only family member has illness in their family and cannot keep him. With his age against him, most shelters would put him down even though he has several good years ahead of him. His shots are probably up to date, relatives are looking for his Veterinarian records. Buzz is good with other dogs and cats and loves people. He loves his crate and willingly goes into it at night to sleep.

Pockets is a 6 year old male, smooth coat Chihuahua, fawn in color, about 8 pounds. He likes other small dogs and loves to sit in someone's lap. Owner said he is very friendly, not a nipper or biter. He will bark when someone comes to the door, but will settle down once they come in. Pockets is now with the owners mother who has 2 dogs herself, and all three are trying to be the alpha male, all were housebroken but now and then one will mark territory.

Pockets is up to date on all his shots, rabies, is neutered, just has to be microchipped.

Sugar is a darling reddish fawn, 16 pound, 5 year old Pekingese female who was owner-surrendered because her owners now have a 5 month old baby that Sugar is afraid of. Rather than have her snap or bite in the near future when the little one starts crawling, they thought it best to rehome Sugar.

Sugar is up to date on her shots and is spayed, she will be microchipped in the near future. She likes other dogs, is housebroken, is cage trained but is not leash trained for long walks, she would rather stay inside on her pillow. A few pounds overweight, it would be best for her to loose a few pounds before it causes problems with her back and knees. Her foster Mom put her on a diet, we are hoping this helps her weight issue.

Because of disliking small children, Sugar will be placed in an ADULT ONLY home. No children--No grandchildren!!!

Runty's owner recently moved to Ohio from Mississippi. Unfortunately, she cannot have 3 dogs where she now lives, so must find a home for her own little one.

Runty is 6 years old, Tri-color--13 pounds --up to date on all shots, as she was completely vaccinated in August, prior to moving to Ohio. Spayed, Housebroken, Good with other dogs, but not with Cats. Runty is a Katrina survivor, found quivering under a bridge, taken in by Jenny..

Foster home is needed for Jerry -- or a family that wants to adopt him. Jerry is in the Columbus, Ohio area until we can move him into a foster home in the Cleveland area.

Jerry's owner had to move into an apt that didn't allow dogs -- so the son took Jerry in -- however, the son is gone long hours and is going to move himself, and again Jerry needs another new home.

Jerry is white/cream in color -- about 12 pounds, 6 years of age -- he will be fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. Housebroken, he will go to the door and make a small yip when he needs to go out. He's very good natured. He has a loving personality. He lived with a 6 and a 9 year old and tolerates children very well, however he would do best in an all adult home.
