"Abbra"
Abbra is a 2 yr. old spayed female, who appears to have Russian Blue ancestry. The Russian Blue is one of the oldest known natural breeds in today's cat fancy. It is distinguished by its thick, blue-gray, short-haired coat, which gives its body a silvery sheen, and by its vivid green eyes.

Abbra is named after a character in Steinbeck's novel: East of Eden. Our Abbra is an affectionate lap kitty, who purrs upon being petted and has a calm demeanor.

Abbra has tested positive for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. She is symptom-free and healthy. FIV is a cat only virus, which cannot be transmitted to humans, but can be transmitted to other cats via deep, penetrating bite wounds. Current research suggests that cats, as a species, are well adapted to living with this virus and can often live a normal lifespan.

Abbra first came to our attention when her family moved suddenly and left her behind. Help us make that up to Abbra, by meeting her and discussing adoption with us. Call Neponset Valley Humane Society today at: 781-769-1990.

"Kitty Joe"
Kitty Joe needs a loving home without dogs. He is actually ok with my English Setter rescue, but that dog is very submissive and timid. I am willing to drive anywhere within the state of AZ if a loving home can be found. He is a sweety and does well with children though he does tend to play a little rough (biting). He enjoys being petted and brushed. The Veterinarian thinks that he is a Maine Coon Mix, and is appx. 2 years old. He is very frisky and spunky. He is current on all shots and is neutered. He is not declawed.

"Tulip"
Tulip was found walking down the middle of a busy city street in the middle of a cold winter night and was swiftly picked up by rescue workers. Despite this unimaginable start in life, this little girl happens to be the most loving and trusting of rescued kittens we have found in quite some time. She loves to follow you everywhere you go and is in constant need of affection and love.

Totally dedicated to her "new people" we would love to find her a loving home before she becomes too attached. Tulip is feline leukemia and aids tested and has been vetted. She is around 14 weeks of age.

For more information on Tulip contact her foster mom, Jeanie at 410-531-1552.
