Sandie, also known as Goldie, is a golden-hued Calico (DSH) about 1-2 years old. She is extremely timid, yet very lovable. Sandie was abandoned in the middle of a pasture to tend to her four 3-week old kittens. Sandie has been spayed and fully vaccinated and shares her foster home with a Beagle and 3 other cats. All four of her kittens have been placed in loving homes. Now it's Sandies turn!
Please note we generally are not comfortable adopting our cats to families with small children (under 5 yrs old.) However if you feel your child is gentle and mature enough for a cat, by all means please contact us so we can discuss it!

Guinevere's story is familiar. She was dumped out along with her 3 kittens off of a busy highway loop. Guinevere is a tabby striped DSH Calico about 8-10 months old and is spayed and fully vaccinated. Guinevere is quite the visitor and loves to talk! She is extremely friendly and adaptable and is currently fostered with two small dogs.

Meet Gumbo, who was trapped in a kitten trap at a local fast food place. We had been trying to catch the kittens who had been abandoned there, and assumed, from the way Gumbo protected and called to the kittens, that he was their Mama. Imagine our surprise when we took him in to be "spayed"!
Gumbo Not-The-Mama, is now neutered. He is about 8-9 months old. Gumbo N-T-M is very shy and unassuming, in spite of his wild carrot hair and huge yellow eyes. He seems to have a warm, compassionate side to him as evidenced by how he cared for the tiny kittens. (Dare I say "warm, fuzzy side??") Gumbo is a beauty who will make someone a wonderful companion.

Shadow and Stinky are both about 2 years old, black male shorthairs, and they are neutered and UTD. We would like to see them homed together if possible, but its not necessary. Shadow is a lil shy, but in a quiet environment, he will come out of his shell. I think he would be ok with some older kids, ones old enough to know how to hold a cat without hurting him, because he doesn't mind being grabbed and pretty much have attention "forced" on him.. that seems to bring him out of his shell more... he would just hide when the kids are playing and being loud. I have been "making" him get petted, and he comes to me more for attention (and he used to hate me.. he would try to avoid me!) He is a very adorable little cat. He has very expresive eyes. and he has a white spot on his chest that almost makes him look like a tuxedo cat. He also likes milk alot. He will prance and meow and stand up on his hind legs for a bowl of milk. We call it his "dance" its so cute! He knows when you are getting a milk jug out of the fridge too!
Stinky is very friendly and very playful. When people come over he is one of the few cats who doesn't run and hide. He wants to see who's here, and try to get them to pet him. He loves attention, and he loves to cuddle! He is the only kitten that survived.. his other littermates died, they were all sick. He has a strong will to live. He likes to run around the house and play at times. He still has a lot of kitten left in him. He has one downfall, he can be gassy at times, it was a problem he had as a kitten. Not sure if it is related to him having been sick as a kitten. But that is how he earned his name. He's not as bad about it now. Consistant diet would probably help.. it seems worse when we switch cat foods, which happens alot. He is a great cat otherwise.

This is BG.. short for Big Guy aka Hoss... he is a big, gentle giant. Boy what a confident and laid back attitude in a beautiful well behaved young man who is able to acclimate to any environment.
Good with dogs, kids, other cats. No issues making this fella undesirable.
BG is about 2 yr old, solid and strong, a good candidate for a Therapy cat. A grand companion for an elderly person.
