Buster, Camelia: These kittens are rescues. They have had their first shots, been dewormed and have had their ears cleaned
for mites. They will have an additional check up on the 1/28/99 and will get their booster shots then. At that point they will be able to go to their new homes. They will need to be altered and be inside only cats (no negotiation on that!). The mother has tested negative for FIV/feleuk. Please see www.geocities.com/RainForest/Canopy/3686. I will help all I can with transportation. I live near Charlotte NC. Please contact me by e-mail if you are interested in the kittens and we will go from there. Laura Lee.
Buster is a hefty boy with blue eyes, about 8 weeks old. He has a cream coat with chocolate points.
Camelia is a female, about 8 weeks old. She is a lynx point mix with blue eyes. She is very petite and will have the long thin
boning of a meezer.
The Siamese Cat Rescue Center has a volunteer network called the Meezer Express that assists with transportation of the cats if needed to get them to their adoptive homes.

"Tabitha"

I am a 10 year-old seal point Siamese with ice blue, slightly crossed eyes. After only a few days with my foster parents, I snuggle in their laps when they sit to read, and keep them company at night curled up on their comforter. Despite my “maturity”, I am lithe and statuesque. Playtime with mom or dad is a game of string with red velvet covered cording, or an empty cardboard box top. Despite my apparent maturity I am lithe and playful! Unfortunately, no one is home during the day, so
sometimes I get really lonely. Meanwhile, I spend my days sunbathing, cleaning my gorgeous fur, and watching the birds through the second story windows. I haven’t ventured downstairs by myself…stairs are a new experience for me, having grown up in a ranch home. If you carry me down, I will play with you there, and at the first sign of stress, I can always run back upstairs to hide under the bed! I really don't have a mean bone in my body and I love to be with people -- I am looking for a nice home with people there during the day, and older children or a dog
are Ok -- I have not really been with another cat for a long time! I eat Iams Less Active and enjoy really cold water. For information on how to adopt me and/or information on The Siamese Cat Rescue, please go to: http://www.meezer.com/rescue/index.html

"Meeko"
|
Meeko, a Blue Lynx Point in a no-kill shelter here in Marietta, GA. She is absolutely gorgeous (naturally), probably a mix. She
is shy and somewhat hissy, but this seems to come from fear, not aggressiveness. When she was in the transition room at the
shelter (with a small number of cats) she was actually fairly loving. This is a no-kill shelter, so she is not in danger. I just fear that she will have a hard time being adopted, as she tends to hide in the lower levels of the condos where adopters won't know to look for her! I can be reached at diannedav@aol.com or diannedallen@cobbk12.org. The shelter is Good Mews Animal
Foundation at (770) 499-CATS. All cats at the shelter are FeLeuk/FIV negative, have received all vaccinations (including FIP) and are spayed/neutered if old enough. Meeko is probably around a year old and has been spayed. The shelter's web site is
www.goodmews.org but I don't think that Meeko has a page yet.
