  "Pickles" is a year old Pekingese, blind, now spayed, shots current and sporting stitches from her "fold tuck" to keep her face hair off each cornea. She is blind, quiet, loving, gives kisses (will wash the skin off your face if you let her), gentle, good with other dogs if not pressured and is learning her way around the place. She was injured in a dog fight at her original home so I had x-rays taken of her back and hips to be sure there was no problem there and she is fine, back and hips are clear of injury. If you are looking for a sweet, gentle little dog give "Pickles" a chance. |
"Maggie" is a 9 year old Dachshund/Brittany mix, about the size of a Sheltie, spayed, shots current and in need of a new home due to her owner being no longer able to care for her. She is house trained, loving, gentle, quiet and a happy girl. She also lives with a lovely gray tabby cat (Toby whose picture I will get next week) who also needs a home.  "Snowy" is an 8 year old Lhasa Apso, about 18 pounds, neutered, shots current, house, crate and dog door trained. He is a happy boy, begs wonderfully, plays with the other dogs but would prefer a person of his own again to snuggle with. He is fast to hop into a lap when you sit down, loves to be petted and will "shadow" you all over the house. He does have a bit of separation anxiety so a home with someone home all or most of the time would be best. Are you looking for a nice, mostly white "soul mate"? He is looking for you too!! |
"Buttons" is a 13 years young Shih Tzu. He's quite a gentleman who loves everybody. Kids, cats and other dogs are all his friends. He is great on a leash and loves to go with you in the car. He's also potty trained. He likes his food and is a bit overweight. Buttons is white with a bit of gray and big brown eyes. He is very healthy, neutered, and is up to date on his shots. "Sadie" Beautiful Sadie, hides her sadness behind those beautiful bright eyes. After loosing her human to heaven, Sadie is in need of a new home. Being a mix of Basenji and Shiba means this sweet thing will be a sensitive creature. She does get along with other dogs, but doesn't like them to try any of the "alpha" moves on her.
Sadie is terrified of fireworks, loud noises, people with sticks" in their hands, rolled newspapers and thunder storms. Sadie will need a home that truly understands the Basenji and the Shiba, she needs to be loved unconditionally, treated gently, allowed to trust you on her own terms and mostly to be understood. That isn't always easy for a human, but it can be done, and Sadie certainly deserves a wonderful lifetime home!

Roxy is 3-years old, gentle on a leash and very well behaved on her walks. She is a gorgeous brindle color.
Roxanne will need to be spayed before she goes home with her new family.

 This handsome guy is about six years old, he's black, brown with a little bit of white on his chest and toes. He weighs about 48 lbs. (thin), has a great disposition, is not food aggressive (could take a dog chew out of his mouth), seemed to be ok going into Pet Smart - fine around the other animals, seems ok with children. |

Buster is a gentle calm puppy who is outgoing and friendly in all situations. He is already crate-trained, and trained not to nibble on humans, and is working on being house trained. He plays happily with the other puppies in his foster home, and is told off daily by a few of the older dogs. He lives with and ignores a cat. He is so sweet and laid back that he should do well in any home that has the time to give him the really good start in life he deserves.
