"Megan"
Megan is a 6-7 year old teacup yorkie who weighs about 4-5 pounds.
Megan is very energetic and loves bouncing around her foster home. Megan is tiny and cute and enjoys the company of the other dogs in the home. Megan is working on being housetrained and is scheduled to be spayed on 8/8.

"Cola"
Cola is approximatley 10 pounds and about 18 months old. Cola had to have his long hair shaved due to severe matting and fleas. He is feeling so much better now and loves to play fetch with tennis balls. The ball is almost too big for his mouth but he carries one with him everywhere.
Cola is working on his housetraining and he enjoys the other dogs in the home. Cola follows his foster mom everywhere and loves to sit on her lap for pets/rubs. Cola would do fine with children because he loves to run and play. He is up to date with routine shots and altered. Call Sally at 410-576-0481 to adopt this sweet boy!

"Bessie"
Bessie is a cute white dog with black spots - she appears to be a chubby Chihuahua but might be mixed with some Jack Russel Terrier too. She weighs about 15 pounds and has the softest coat you have ever felt.
Bessie is a lap dog but has energy to spare as she investigates her new foster home. She seems fine with other dogs and is working hard on being housebroken (it seems being in the shelter may have interupted her training). Bessie loves belly rubs and is fine in the crate. What a lot of kisses too!

"Sargent"

Sargent is approximately 9 years old. He is looking for a new home because the granddaughter in his present home is having problems with asthma. He is a sweet old guy and loves to go outside and be with his people. He has some medical issues. He has periodic seizures, which according to the Vet could possibly be treated. He is also starting to lose his sight, however this could possibly improve with surgery.
Sargent is neutered and is current on all of his vaccinations. He is good with children, but may knock them over if under the age of 3, due to his size and lack of sight. He also is good with cats. He has never had a problem with having an accident in their home and can go for long periods of time. He knows
how to use a dog door. He loves being brushed and sleeps on his dog bed. He knows the following commands: sit, roll-over, go to bed. He is unable to get into a vehicle by himself, but he has a ramp, which can come with him.! He loves to chew on bullsticks, pigs ears and rawhides. He is not destructive and does not dig up the yard. He is very happy to go for walks and can go about 1 mile. He can also fetch, mostly in the house. Travels well, doesn't get car sick. He loves lots of attention!!! He is not a picky eater. Only eats dry food, but would love canned I'm sure!
Sargent is in Phoenix, AZ, but I would be willing to drive him anywhere to a loving home.

HI!!! I am SO new into the rescue thing that I don't even have a name just yet. I am just 6 months old and a really cute little black and white boy. I am neutered, up to date on my shots and also microchipped. Of course I will need some help with my house training as I am just a baby yet. I love to give puppy kisses and cuddle with you too. I get along just fine with other dogs and although I don't think I ever met a cat, I think I would like them too.
I was rescued from a commercial kennel situation and I thank my lucky stars that I will never have to live in that place again. She can get you the application you need to fill out as well as answer any other questions you may have. She also wants you to know that you will need to submit personal references, a vet reference and also have a home check. My adoption donation is $350. Pictures coming soon. very sweet and loving. I get along great with other dogs. I'm very much a
'people' dog. I love attention & just want to be near people. I'm treated
well here & everyone is very nice, but it's just not the same as having a
home & family of my own.
