"Alex"
Alex is approximately 10 pounds and is currently recovering from a heartworm treatment. Otherwise his health is fine. He is doing well and we expect a full recovery. He is doing nicely in his foster home and gets along well with dogs and cats. He has a really sweet personality and is not a barker.

"Venus"
Venus is a sweet, mellow young lady. Venus is currently 65 pounds but very gentle and loving. She is nine months old and appears fine with children, dogs, cats, and people. She is new in our rescue so more information to follow.

"Hank"

Hank is a shy, submissive four month old puppy that needs lots of attention and love. He is frightened of people but loves other dogs. For that reason a home with another dog would be perfect. He is working on being housebroken and is getting more confident daily. He is not aggressive only submissive and it is nice to see his confidence build.
Hank was pulled from the Baltimore City Animal Shelter so his history is a mystery. He would like a forever home when he can heal and start to have some puppy fun. "Ebony"
Ebony is a five year dog who is looking for a new home as her guardian is going into an assisted living situration. She is very sweet and will make a wonderful pet to someone. She loves to go for long walks and to spend time with her guardian. She is paper trained so will need to learn to go outside but she is very smart and will learn quickly.

"Collie"
Collie is a 10 year old, small chihuahua mix who weighs about 16 pounds. Collie is cat friendly but would prefer to be the only dog (although she is okay with some dogs). Collie loves attention and affection. She is a true lap dog who greets you at the door every day. Collie is nervous which is common in chihuahuas but would likely do fine once in a secure forever home. She may be better in a home with older children who can be gentle with small senior dog.

"Roxy"

Roxy is a 9 year old spayed female, 45lbs. She is a family pet needing a new home to retire in. Roxy is a wonderful mixed breed dog that has had the same owner since she was 6 months old. Due to family circumstances out of our control we are no longer able to care for her. She is a loyal and loving dog. Roxy will be a wonderful watch dog and likes a lot of attention. She follows basic commands and is house broken. She is in excellent health and all shots are up to date. All vet records are available. She’s been in a loving home all of her life and we’re looking to find another one for her to finish up her golden years.

"Knox"
I found Knox as a stray about a month ago and have been fostering him since. He's a truly awesome dog. Everyone who has met him has fallen in love with him. He's very sweet - a total lap dog - but also playful. His favorite activities include playing with his toys, belly rubs and walks in the park.
Knox is house and crate trained and will soon be neutered. He is a medium sized dog, weighs around 50 lbs and is about 2 years old. The vet thinks Knox is a lab/pit bull mix. We are working on obedience training - he listens very well and already knows sit, down and come. He gets along well with children and all other dogs except for other alpha males. He tested positive for heartworm and has been successfully treated for it, so whoever adopts him I'd like to ask for some help with his medical bill.

"Sparky"
Sparky was dropped off into someone's backyard with his leash but no identification. The lucky recipients do cat rescue so were unable to foster him. At his new foster home, he is very friendly, waggging his tale often, and is completely housetrained!
Sparky is neutered and has had his routine shots this week. Sparky does fine with the other foster dogs and likes to "speak" his mind when they are playing. Sparky already knows how to sit and give you his paw. He loves to be petted so much that he will push his head under your hand. If you are interested in adopting him, call Sally at 410-576-0481.
