"Caterina"

Caterina is a tiny little shih tzu poodle mix. A shihpoo. She is friendly in spite of coming from a commercial kennel. She is a happy go lucky little dog and will make a wonderful addition to anyones family. She is about five pounds and 4 to 5 years of age. She appears healthy. We are training her for newspaper. She is not leash trained as of yet.
Caterina will be available for a $250 donation to our rescue medical fund and an approved application. She will need regular grooming. Email bonnwright@aol.com for an application to adopt Caterina.

"Otis"
Otis is a three year old lhasa boy, a pure bred, that just came out of a commercial kennel. He has a nice temperment and is not a biter. Gets along with other dogs but is somewhat fearful of people. He is available to responsible rescue for rehoming or to his forever home. Contact bonnwright@aol.com. He is located in central wisconsin. When he came in he was so matted, we dont think he had ever been groomed. Underneath was this beautiful boy. He was in an amish kennel so has never seen TV, had never ridden in a car or heard a radio. Lots of new things for him to learn. Not sure if he will get along with cats. He will be neutered and up to date on shots before being adopted to his forever home.

"Alice"

Alice is a very small fox terrier, rat terrier mix. She has lived the first three to four years of her life so far in a cage in a puppymill. She was released to our rescue and is now looking for a home as a house dog with someone that will take care of her and love her. She has a good temperment and is not a biter. She is fearful of humans and of being handled but she will get over it with time. She is a tiny one and should be very easy to care for. Dorothy is a schnoodle girl, only a few years old, three at the most. A schnoodle is a schnauzer, poodle mix. She weighs about 8 lbs. She is silver and white in color. She has a nice even temperment, is not a biter at all but is somewhat fearful of people. She came out of a commercial kennel and is looking for a home of her own. She wants to be a house pet now. She needs some training, she has lived in a cage all her life. She will come around fast and be a good companion for someone. Very sweet girl. "Thalia"
Thalia has a wonderful disposition. Thalia and Anneli, also listed on my site are sisters. Thalia is only slightly shy so must have gotten some attention at the commercial kennel she was in. She has lived in a cage all her life having puppies for someone. Now she is free and looking for a home as a house dog. She has a lot of love and companionship to give someone. She is five to six years old and a nice silver and white color. She weighs about 12 lbs. She loves to watch TV. She thinks the people are real and she barks at men. She will get use to it. Trisha is a two year old female pure bred pekingese in need of a good home. She is a retired breeder from a commercial kennel and was released to our rescue because they are cutting back on breeding. Trisha weighs in about ten pounds and is a nice looking pekingese. She is a red fawn in color. She is pretty well socialized and loves attention. She is doing very well at her housebreaking. "Blackie

Blackie is a female Border Collie/Spaniel mix in a Long Island, NY kill shelter. She desperately needs a rescue, foster or permanent home. She is 1-2 years old and was brought to the shelter as a stray,
Blackie is not doing well at the shelter and is going kennel crazy, and doesn't show well to the public. Once out of the kennel, she is a very nice dog. They were going to put her down, but a kennel worker has gotten a temporary reprieve for her. They are trying to show her outside of her cage. Border Collies do not do well in a shelter environment.
She is located at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter in West Babylon (Long Island) New York. We call her Blackie, but the shelter will only know her as ID number 88077 and Cage number 70. If you can help this dog, please call the shelter at (631) 643-9270.

Serena is very sweet. She gets along with other dogs. She is not good
with cats. She likes to play fetch and she loves to be around people.
She enjoys car rides.
Serena has been at the sheler for 4 months and
would really love a place to call home. She gets excited to see people
and does this cute little but wiggle. She is up to date with all
shots and has been altered. Love a rottie!
