Ah, hello there people. Are you friendly? I’m not always real sure. My people put me outside and then left. I looked for them all over but they didn’t come back. Then a nice lady asked me to visit her. I was shy but eventually I did. What a change! I got good food and lots of petting; a trip to the vet for medical updates on shots and neutering and a brand new kennel to call my own. Then it was off to a place called a “rescue”. I’m still not real sure of them because they give me pills and eye ointment - but they feed me good and talk real nice and pet me like I’m special. I think maybe they’re OK. They say this isn’t the last stop for me - they’re going to find me a forever home where I’ll be spoiled and pampered and loved to pieces. I think that would be great!
I like other dogs, and they like me too. I bet cats are OK and even kids if they can be patient until I trust them. I’m even housebroken so you just have to love me. These folks here want me to have a special loving home so you will need to provide personal and vet references as well as have a home visit before I can come and live with you.
My adoption donation is $250. I am currently living in northern MN. However, they will let me travel out of state so don’t be afraid to ask about me. I would love to have a special person to love me. See you soon......

Hi, my name is Billy. I am a male Japanese Chin that is just 4 years old. I am neutered, up to date on my shots, microchipped and I just had my teeth cleaned too!! I feel like a new man. I weigh about 7-8 pounds and have a lovely black and white fur coat that I sport year round. I am looking for a home with someone that can help me with my house training. But more importantly I need a family that will love me, play with me and take me for walks. I am leash trained and ready to walk with you.
I get along fine with other dogs and I really like kids just fine too. If you think that you would like me to come and live with you please contact Heidi at mopleez@aol.com. She can answer any questions you might have as well as get you the adoption application that you will need to fill out.

Wow, what a wonderful world it is!! Up, down and all around it’s exciting!
My name is Maki from Tatsumaki which means tornado. I’ve got a whirlwind of energy and I’m flying. After starting out at a puppy mill, I just can’t believe all the things there are to see and hear and feel and do. I get soooooo exciited I jump up and down and twirl around in circles. After a couple of days with playtime in a big yard I’m slowing down a little but not much. Thank heavens there are people to make sure I don’t get hurt. I like to stay by their feet - then run and explore - then return to home base.
At 6 months old I’m bigger than many adult Japanese Chins, about 11 pounds, so I’d better find a doggy friend that will play and put up with my “puppy” attitude. I
haven’t barked or growled at anything - I just like to trot around like a fancy pony. I still have to learn how to play - and check out treats - and learn house manners. O there’s so much for a puppy to do!
Maki is neutered, up to date on his shots, heartworm negative and microchipped. His adoption donation is $350.00 He is currently being fostered in Omaha, NE. We do adopt out of state but will not ship our dogs. Please feel free to contact Heidi at MOPLEEZ@AOL.COM for any questions. She can provide you with the necessary adoption application. "Carlie"
Carlie is a young collie/sheltie mix - she has a lassie face and a smallish frame (she weighs 38 pounds). Carlie is so sweet, quiet, and yet so loving. Carlie knows how to sit and give you her paw. She seems to be completely housebroken but does do a fair amount of shedding.
Carlie does very well with the other foster dogs and is generally a sweetheart. She is up to date with routine shots and spayed. Please consider giving this kind-hearted dog a forever home - contact Sally at 410-576-0481 for adoption information.

"Bauer"
Bauer is a sweet lovable dog who is not dog friendly. He needs an experienced dog owner and will also require training. Belgians are known to be beautiful, smart, loving dogs. Bauer will be worth the trouble as he wants to be with his guardian to give kisses and lots of love. If you have room for just one dog in your home, then Bauer is for you. Maggie is a 7 month old puppy who is at the City Shelter. Maggie, needs to have some fun....she has been at the shelter for most of her puppyhood. She initially is quite active and will need to be able to run and just be free. She is so anxious to please and wants someone to give her attention. "Miss Moppet"
Miss Moppet is a small, adult, cuddly female Lhasa Apso/Poodle mix. She would make the perfect companion dog. She is low maintenance and her favorite spot is curled up on the couch. Oh, and she loves to be held and gives kisses. She came to us with pure white dreadlocks and literally looked like a mop. After a bath and a haircut there is not much left of her. She weighs about 6 pounds.
Miss Moppet was abandoned at the Baltimore City pound because she had a tumor. We have gone through with the operation and removed the tumor and had her spade. Miss Moppet is living with breast cancer; however this hasn’t slowed her down a bit. She is house broken, walks on a leash, and gets along with other dogs and cats. She only barks when someone knocks on the door, or if she wants to come back inside. She should not be in a house with small children because she can be a bit territorial with her chew toys. Mandi is a 2 year old Rottie who has been living at the City Shelter but is being placed into a foster home. Mandi is quite sweet and loveable with a gentle personality.
