"Tinker"
Senior Fluffy Boy!
"Tinker" is a camera shy 10 year old long coat Cardigan Corgi, neutered, shots current, had his teeth cleaned and 3 cysts removed so he is now ready for his new forever home.
He is a happy boy, loves to be near his owner, fully house broken, learning dog door (goes out just fine but not yet coming in on his own). As soon as his hair grows back in over his surgery sites he will again be a very handsome boy.
Tinker is good with other dogs, cats and all humans. He is active, reasonably quiet and a really nice dog. If you want a sweet boy with a lot of loving life left in him, don't pass up meeting Tinker. He will reward the "right for him" home with many more years of love!

"Mandy & Pete"
Loving Senior Pair!!
"Mandy (left) and Pete (right)" are a "must go to the same home" pair of dogs. After all, they have spent their entire lives together, so why upset them anymore? They have had some medical set backs as well as being altered and their shots updated; Pete (10 years) has had dental surgery, double oronasal surgery and a foxtail removed from one eye. Mandy (9 years) has also gone through double oronasal surgery as well, lost ALL of her teeth and has had several tumors removed from her tired old body, one weighing 1.5 pounds.
The upside to all this is that both dogs are extremely loving, their tails never stop wiggling and wagging, although Mandy is a bit more cautious around people than Pete. Pete loves to be center of attention, yet always keeps an eye on his lady Mandy! We are hoping that Pete and Mandy will have quite a few years left in them but life does not hand out guarantees. What we can guarantee is that whoever adopts this loving pair will have their lives blessed in many ways. Pete and Mandy deserve the chance to live life to the fullest, now who has what it takes to live life with them?

"Sybil & Bernard"
"Sybil (left) & Bernard (right)" are the sweetest dogs you would ever want to meet! Sybil, a 12 year old Shih Tzu, is 11 year old Bernard's mom. They are very bonded and must be placed together. They are adorable, mellow, affectionate, potty trained, and good on their double leash. They get along great with children, other dogs, and cats.
They were given up because their owners came upon hard times and couldn't keep them. They had ear infections, which are being treated, and extremely bad teeth. Poor Bernard lost all teeth on the left side of his mouth, and some on the right for a total of 20 missing teeth, while Sybil lost only 8. They are recovering nicely and feeling better than they have for a long time. They are also current on their shots.
If you're looking for 2 wonderful companions, these are the kids for you.

"Cubby"

"Cubby" is a Saint Bernard/Chow mix, 13 years old, housebroken, obedience and crate trained. He LOVES cats, kids, livestock, is good with strangers and is gentle with new people; compatible with all except alpha male dogs. General attitude: Lovable, gentle, mellow and personable, loves to "talk" to you, roll on the ground and loves his ears scratched, legs massaged and any petting at all... "just give me the attention ma'am". He can't jump up or climb stairs but he LOVES to ride.

"Ginger"

Have you ever eaten fresh ginger? You know how it tastes? Kind of sweet, kind of tart, spicy and smooth all at the same time. Yeah, you got it, well that is our 8.5 year old Ginger.
Being a typical Yorkie, she knows full well she is in complete control of the world and to keep peace, all other creatures must obey her yips, grunts and growls! She can compromise with another head dog in a household, but she is not impressed by doing so. Now if you have a lap that is empty, she'll gladly jump up and keep it warm. If you are willing to share your bed, Ginger will crawl under the covers, snuggle beside you and wish good dreams upon you. Sweet dreams ARE made of this!

"Lady"

"Lady" A face that could launch an entire fleet!
Little Lady has had a rough beginning to her life and after a visit to the vet, is ready for some smooth sailin'. Lady is 4 (born 12/99), spayed, current on shots, has a beautiful new smile and with her ears being freshly cleaned, is more than ready to hear those wonderful words "I love you". Word of warning, when you say those three little words, beware her wiggling stumpy tail! Once she sees the groomer, watch out, she's going to be even prettier than she is in this picture.

"Fergus"
|
"Fergus" is a Cocker mix, about 2 years old, 25 pounds and neutered. This little doll is a gentle soul who will be your shadow and just wants a lot of love. He has a silky coat that feels wonderful to run your fingers through. Fergus is quite amusing with all of the little noises he makes. He is great with other dogs and cats and I suspect would do wonderful with kids as well. If you are considering adopting two dogs, Fergus is Benton's "best buddy" and they would do very well together.

"Ebo"
|
Sweet, loving Senior!
"Ebo" is a 12 year old, 12 pound Spaniel/Pom mix that came into rescue in pretty rough shape. He is now neutered, shots up to date, had two oronasal fistulas repaired and is totally toothless!!
Ebo is now feeling a lot better, is happy, loves attention, plays dead and is just a great little dog. He is looking for a home that will appreciate him for the kind, gentle and loving soul he is but also won't leave him home alone for long periods. He loves to be with his human and will reward the right human with a joyous "rest of his life".

"Ziggy"

Alert, loving Senior!
"Ziggy" is back after 2.5 years due to his owner having a stroke and being unable to care for him any longer. He is now 14.5 years old, 12 pounds, neutered, shots current, has cataracts, sporting clean, shiny teeth, at least those left in his mouth are clean.
Don't let the number of his age fool you, this little guy is active, plays a bit with Muffin, his terrier mix house mate, and is a happy, alert little fellow. He would do well in a home with other dogs or as an only pet. He is quiet, calm, great with other dogs and nothing much seems to faze him.
