We believe Keats is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, he is small at about 12 lbs. Nice temperment. Good on a leash. Check out his big smile.

Patsy is 2 to 3 years old and was just released from a commercial kennel. She is a little bit shy but genuinely loves people. She gets along well with other dogs after a short introductory period. Patsy loves being held and carried around. You couldn't find a cuter fur kid. Patsy will be spayed, have her teeth cleaned and be up to date on shots before going to her new home.

Val is almost 3 years old, female, either English setter or Springer mix, spayed, vaccinated, crate and house trained. She loves the out of doors, kids, people and other dogs. Val has a curiosity and playfulness for cats, thus will chase them when they run. Val would need a family that has time to take her outside to play. A fenced yard is preferred, but she must be a house dog. Val likes lots of attention so a family that is home a lot of the time would be great for her.

Toto is a one year old lhasa male. He is an owner surrender from someone that had many medical problems and could not keep him anymore. He loves people and loves other dogs and is good with children. Toto is house broken and loves being out of doors. He is good on a leash, but the previous owner told me that he is a runner so a fenced yard would be a real good idea for him. Toto was never abused and is a real affectionate dog, he will make a great companion and bed warmer for someone. He does have a lhasa snout although it does not show in the picture. He weighs about 12 lbs. Toto's adoption fee is $200 toward rescue medical expenses.

MingTzu is a sweet little 2 year old shihtzu who got her walking papers because she was too stressed to take care of her babies when they were born. She is now looking for a home as a house dog, lucky girl. She enjoys people and does well with other dogs. She is a bit shy and will not come to her new name yet. MingTzu weighs about 10 lbs and will make a nice companion for someone. No small children please as she has had no experience with kids. She has a beautiful face that reminds me of Lady in the Lady and the Tramp movie.

Rufus is a very small sheltie mix. He only weighs 11 lbs. He has quite a bit of hair and will have to be brushed regularly. Rufus was found as a stray , he was in very poor shape. He is now healthy again and able to go up for adoption. Rufus is good with other dogs and likes people Rufus is 6 to 8 years old and is missing one of his front legs. He gets around fine and does very well without it. Rufus is learning to trust people again and he will make a wonderful companion for someone.

Buddy is a chi mix, I think, maybe mixed with italian greyhound. He is very sleek and is a beautiful pale fawn color. He almost looks like an egyptian pharoah hound. He weighs in at 9 lbs. He lived with an elderly gentlemen and was not socialized very well, because he didnt see many other people. He is adjusting well to being here and I think will do well in a quiet home , no small chldren , mayhe one or two other dogs. He is a lap sitter and loves affection and people food. If you can give Buddy a forever home , contact us. He is only two years old, neutered and up to date on all his shots.

Sammy is a seven year old black pekingese with a white chest. He weighs in about 15 lbs and has very short little legs. He does not like going for walks and has a hard time going up and down stairs. His legs are just too short for stairs so he will need help. He has a very thick heavy coat and looks much larger than he is. He will need to be kept cool in the summer. His grandfather was a champion pekingese. He grew up without children, so an adult home would be the best for him. He can be a bit bossy with food or with his toys. I think he is quite comical. Spirit does get along with other dogs, but does enjoy your total attention. She gets along with cats, is kennel trained and likes going for rides in the car. Spirit may have been debarked because she cannot bark very loud at all. We would prefer she go to a home with a fenced yard, older children and someone that will continue to work on training.
