"Bandit and Snickers"
Bandit and Snickers were surrendered to the shelter with their feline siblings because their father said he travels too much and it wasn't fair to them. At 11 and 9 what isn't fair is that they are spending what should be their golden years in a cage at a shelter nearly 24 hours a day.

They are both altered and up to date on shots, and both are housetrained, good with other dogs, cats and kids. They are 11 and 9 yrs old.

Please e-mail West Jersey Volunteers for Animals at wjvolunteers@yahoo.com "ATTN: 2 Poms - Bandit and Snickers" to apply to adopt or foster these two golden oldies. They are currently at the West Jersey Animal Shelter in Pennsauken, NJ and it is desperately overcrowded. (The West Jersey Volunteers for Animals is separate from the shelter and will help get them into rescue. )

"Shelby and Gracie"
Shelby and Gracie are sisters. They are 10 months old. DOB - 12/20/02. They are very sweet little girls needing a home together. These two little girls are very bonded to one another, I can not separate them. Once you get to know them, I think you will agree. They are spayed, their vaccinations are current and they are on heartworm preventative. They both have been diagnosed with hip dysplasia but this doesn't slow them down one iota!

Shelby weighs 10.8 lbs. Gracie weighs 11.4 lbs. They are crate trained but not completely housebroken. They are doing much better and I've learned when Shelby starts barking at you, to get her out. They would do even better with the housetraining if someone was home more with them.

Gracie still is not leash trained, Shelby is doing better with a leash. They are great with other dogs. The ideal home for them would be a home where they can stay together in or near Central Indiana, have a fenced yard to play in, and a stay at home parent with previous Pug experience. Oh, and you must have lots of toys!!!!!!!

Adoption application, references, and a home visit are required to adopt. Please contact Rhonda at ak9love@aol.com.

"Scoobie"

Scoobie and his brother and sister were abadoned in some woods, so we have no idea how long they were there. Then, a nice lady found them and brought them into her home. However, she had little children and feared that they weren't to be trusted around them. So, they were brought here. This adds to Scoobie's fear of people and loud sounds. His brother(and protector)was adopted, on Friday, and now Scoobie is alone. He is sweet and loving, after he learns that he can trust you. He has nipped the hand of a volunteer who was too quick to try and handle him, so care needs to be when handling him, at first.

Please, if you know anyone who would like to adopt Scoobie, let us know. Our shelter's email addie is: YCHumaneSociety@aol.com, and our telephone number is #828-682-9510. Contact us, immediately, as his time is running out. Also, transport can be coordinated to help get them to a safer place. Thank you, in advance, for your consideration.
