"Zoey" is a 10 pound mini dachshund, around 2 years old, spayed, shots current, house and dog door trained with freshly cleaned teeth. She is a very sweet, active, lap loving little dog that needs a home with preferably another dachshund. She is outgoing, good with other dogs, not good with small children and cats are an unknown. "Sugar" is a spayed, shots current standard long hair Dachshund. She is about 10, was a stray in the shelter in Boise and when out of time there she was sent here. She had 2 fatty lumps removed, one on her back and one on her leg and is now also sporting clean, shiny teeth. She is now ready to find her new home. She is a bit insecure with some mild separation anxiety so a home where she will rarely be alone would be best. She loves to sleep on a soft dog bed next to your bed, will keep you company on walks and loves attention.

Kailea, a sweet 3 yr. old purebred German Shepherd, would make an awesome family companion. She is crate-trained, house-trained, has completed an obedience class & has her AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate. Knows verbal (German) & hand signal commands for "sit", "stay", "come", "down","heel" and "no", though still learning & needs consistency. Wonderful with kids of all ages. Needs to be an inside/outside dog--she loves to be with her family wherever they are. She adores playing in water and retrieving her tennis ball.
Kailea needs to be an only dog as she has some jealousy issues, but is very sweet
and eager to please, and will do ANYTHING for treats. She is 25" at shoulder and 78#. Needs daily enzyme supplement. Call Karen at(435)835-4761.

Smilie was tossed from a moving car by someone who apparently does not know the value of a dog's unconditional love. Smilie is a delightful, smooth coat Border Collie mix. The charming toothy grin she flashes when she is excited and happy inspired her name. As of 6/25/03 she is about 3 months old, is smart as a whip, and cute as a button. She is full of personality and eager to please. She will be medium size when grown. She is fine with other dogs and cats and loves people. Jack was found with bailing twine imbedded in his neck. He is a sweet Border Collie Mix, about 8 yrs old and 16" at the shoulder. He is about 40#. He is a wonderful dog, loves people, truck rides, and gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. He has natural herding instincts, but is a bit bold toward horses, who get cranky when Jack insists on herding them. A farm situation would be ideal for Jack.
