"Mouse"
|
"Mouse" is a 10 year old, neutered, shots current, 12 pound Chihuahua who is crate, dog door and house trained. He is one silly, talkative, lap loving little guy. He will "yodel", "whisper" and
make other assorted sounds that actually sound like he is talking to you. What a hoot of a dog!!
Have room in your lap for an independent little soul that wants to snuggle? If so, Mouse is your guy!!

"Sissy"
|
"Sissy" is a 14 year old, 13.8 pound, spayed, house, crate, dog door trained, shots current Mini Schnauzer. She had horrible teeth, lost 2 during her dental and had 3 cysts on her back and hip removed. Once the stitches are gone and her hair grows back, no one will ever know she had anything done. Sissy is a very sweet, loving, quiet, gentle, regal little girl that does not look or act like a 14 year old. Have room at your hearth for an alert, well mannered, sweet senior? Come on out and meet Sissy!

"Jenni"
|
"Jenni" is an 8 year old spayed, de-barked, shots current, house trained Sheltie who has had basic obedience training. In true Sheltie fashion she is reserved, closer to shy, at first but will do most anything for a "cookie".
This little dog had a growth on her lip that sadly was cancerous. She has had it removed and there may be a 50/50 chance of the cancer returning which also means it may never return. This is a wonderful, loving, sweet, gentle girl that deserves a loving home for the rest of her life. Are you willing to love and adopt a dog that is not quite perfect? She will reward you with all the love in her heart.

"Emmie"
|
"Emmie" is a 10 - 12 year old, 8 pound mini poodle. She was found wandering, thin, matted, cold, hungry and in bad condition. Her nails were curled under and into her pads, her coat was so matted she was shaved to her skin and her teeth need treatment. She has been loved and cared for at some time and would love to be again. Is there a lonely lap out there looking for a tiny dog to fill the void? Emmie might be your girl!!!

This is one happy, active, loving little guy that is great with other dogs and all humans. "Puppies!"
|
The following 7 Cocker mix puppies are being fostered in Bigfork,
MT. They were born to "Pickles", (now available in Havre) a 23 pound purebred
Cocker Spaniel. They have had an extremely rough start in life, so hopefully they
will soon be adopted into wonderful families, so they can start a long, blissful
life. The day they were brought to me, one pup was showing signs of Canine Parvo
Virus. Parvo is often fatal to pups if treatment is not started immediately. All
pups eventually came down with it. Unfortunately one did not make it. After many
scary, intense, and long days and nights, these remaining seven pups are now the
picture of health. Most of the pups also had umbilical hernias, which needed to
be repaired at the time of spaying/neutering. A couple were rather severe.
Due to the expenses of treating parvo and repairing the hernias,
their Vet fees are a bit high, but each pup is worth ten times that at least!
:) Come meet them and I'm sure you'll agree! Pups are almost 13 weeks and all
have been spayed/neutered, vaccines started, wormed, and will receive free Puppy
Kindergarten classes with Grizzly Dog School in Kalispell.
You might notice that they have all been named after singers
because they love to hear their own voices! : )
For more information on these guys email Kristen at 2mnycrtr@cyberport.net

"Daisy"
Lovely, nearly-white female lab mix (approx 1 year old). I picked up as a stray, ran the usual found ads and received the usual 'no response'. An older nearby resident said she saw a truck dump this dog...it was during our raining streak. This woman said Daisy was hanging around the place where she was thrown out for nearly one week.
Daisy weighs in at 38lbs, is tall and lean for her weight. She stands about 21 inches
at the shoulders, her head reaches about 25-26 inches. She has a little more buff color around her face and ears. She has very short hair.
Daisy is crate-trained, spayed, has all medical, heartworm neg. She seems to be an active dog...may be a good agility candidate...is still getting used to having regular meals and
loves the little attention I'm able to give her. She rides well in the car. I hope to place her in a loving home soon, as I have an ailing older dog of my own who needs more attention.
Daisy may be better with adults at this time as I am unable to test her with children and may be best without cats. Daisy plays well with some of my other dogs but prefers to be with me.
She loves to play with the Kong and any other toy I give her. She's exceptionally quiet in her crate. Daisy will do great in training as she is already very receptive to the
little bit I've done with her.
Required are a loving home with regular vet care, a fenced-in yard or equivalent (just a suggestion - this girl can jump straight up) and an adoption fee.

"Buddy"

|
Buddy is a 2 1/2 year old, chocolate, neutered male Lab. He is up to date on shots, including the lyme vaccine.
Buddy is a big 80 pound baby with his humans. He plays with kids well, but we don't recommend him to a home with very small children. He seems to be ok with the cat though she doesn't like him too much!
You never have to wonder if Buddy is happy because his whole back half "wags" when he sees you. He is housebroken and will make some person out there a wonderful only dog. He is very aggressive with other dogs especially with food and treats. He must be the only dog in his new home, no exceptions. His current home has other small dogs in it and due to Buddy's serious aggression with them he must find a new home by early summer.
Personal and vet references required. Contact Kelly at: khazel@up.net
