First of all his picture does not do him justice. While he looks cute here, Eli is much more handsome. He is ½ ACD & ½ Border Collie, a beautiful light blue color with few black markings. Eli is very well behaved, gets along with other dogs & children. We haven't had him around cats but at only 5 months & some training, cats shouldn't be a problem.
Eli is the in the middle of the road type, as far as temperament. Not
the alpha, but also not a wimp. He will make a great family companion. Eli
is highly intelligent, taking the best of both his breeds, but favoring the
Cattledog. We feel he is a splendidly wonderful puppy full of love & the

Pretty Lily is ½ Border Collie & ½ ACD. Lily & Eli are littermates, but Lily takes more after the Border Collie. She is a beautiful white, with black & a small amount of tan markings. Lily is a more alpha dog, UTD on all shots, crate trained & doing great on housebreaking, soon to be spayed & on heartworm preventative. Lily is very beautiful, with fantastic marking. She is a tough girl & ready for that owner that likes to rough house just a little or someone looking to train a highly intelligent alpha dog. She does get along good with other dogs but will want to be the dominant one & may be too rough for a very submissive dog.
But all in all she is a great dog that just needs a firm hand to bring

Sunshine is very special to us. She was saved in honor of Mick's Mom who recently passed away. Instead of sending flowers, we saved Sunshine with the help of Connie, who worked at the shelter where Sunshine was and Martina & Sherry who transported her to safety. Sunshine drew our attention because she looks so much like she could be our own Elias' little sister, but of course they are not related. Sunshine is 6 months old, UTD on shots & recently spayed. She is crate trained & doing great on housebreaking. She is sooo sweet & loving & will make a great family dog, wonderful as a companion for children & adults. She gets along well with other dogs & I'm sure cats would not be a problem. Sunshine is full of fun & loves to play. We believe she is an Australian Cattledog mixed with a Heinz 57. That is what Elias is and she looks so similar. She may get a little darker as she gets older as Cattledogs are born white & get darker as they age to adulthood. She is very intelligent, willing to please & looking for love in the right home with the right family.

Sonny is a medium-sized neutered male mix, possibly terrier/schnauzer/poodle. He was lost or abandoned in the country. Animal control staff thought he was a very sweet dog, and they were very happy to see him rescued. And with grooming that emphasizes the schnauzer look, he is quite handsome! Sonny weighs about 40 to 45 pounds. He's been vet checked and found to be in good health, and he's current on vaccinations, heartworm preventative and Advantage. He has also been microchipped. His coat is naturally a little curly but not very long, so it should be easy to care for.
Sonny is a very loving dog who probably will make a wonderful family pet. He doesn't seem overly active in spite of his terrier background--he just wants to lean up against you and get lots of hugs and affection. Not recommended for households with cats.  I found an injured stray dog on the side of the road. I couldn't resist picking him up. It turns out that he had been hit by a car and was pretty banged up. The worst injury was that the tendon in his back right leg had been severed. The vet said that since he did not receive immediate attention after injury there wasn't anything she could do to repair it. He will never be able to use the leg. The vet assured me that he was not in any pain and will not suffer any long term problems because the injury was not bone related. |
 1/27/03-Sundance was found on a busy road in Little Rock AR. After running an ad in the paper and having no luck locating the owner I am forced to find him a home. I am unable to keep this dog for very much longer. He is great with everything and everybody. He is crate trained, housetrained, good on a leash, great in a car and has an exceptional personality. He is healthy, was neutered when I found him and is heartworm negative. Someone used to love this dog and I wish that I could find them. He needs a good home quickly.
