Jimmy is an adorable Boston Terrier, about 5-6 years old. He is great with other dogs and cats and is house trained. He follows his foster mom everywhere, and is a bit jealous and very protective. For this reason, he would do best in a home without kids...or with older kids, and would like a home where someone is with him most of the day. This precious little boy is a Dalmatian/Border Collie mix. He is 10 months old and is about 40 lbs. He was born on the 4th of July, hence his name. When we first got Freedom, he was very thin and afraid of everything. Now he is healthy and playful. He loves people and gets along great with our three adult dogs. He is crate trained and house broken. He walks well on a leash and even knows some basic obedience. He loves to go to the dog park to chase balls and play with the other dogs. But he is also just as happy to be on his bed and chew on a bone. He has a great temperament and is very affectionate. He is such a lover! He loves to be picked up and cuddled.
This little guy will make you happy even if you had a really bad day!

Lulu is a 4-year-old spayed American Pit Bull Terrier female who weighs approximately 45 lbs. Lulu has her cute floppy ears and her soft pink nose and her inquisitive eyes. This girl is going to be a great pet for the right person. That person just needs to re-direct all of her exuberance into a positive experience. Yes, Lulu wants to be the only dog in the house. But she'll also end up filling your heart. This fabulous, friendly girl is a little shy at first, but loves, loves, loves people! Not so crazy about other dogs ... probably needs a one-dog person to love her.

Say hello to Herbie, a goofy and likeable brindle pup. Herbie loves to retrieve and play. He is very playful, so we believe a household with no young children (under 8) is best. We think he is housebroken and he seems very responsive to training. As with all Home at Last fosters, Herbie is up to date with his shots. Altogether Herbie is a light-hearted and fun dog who is looking forward to adopting you!

Sweet Tritan is a gorgeous young male Great Dane. Tritan loves everyone ad is playful and friendly. He does have special needs at this time as he is currently VERY underweight, but with TLC in foster care that should change. However, he will not be released for adoption until approximately April 20, 2003. We are taking applications for his adoption at that time. He has the typical easy-going personality common to Great Danes and is just a bundle of love. Tritan is housetrained, walks well on a leash, knows "sit" and is all together very well behaved. Ashley is a purebred German Shorthair Pointer. Ashley loves adults and children and is playful and fun. She gets along fine with older male dogs. She has the energy typical of her breed and is currently learning basic obedience and is catching on fast.

Scout is 9-10 wks old. We are not sure of his heritage... he was abandoned, but is very sweet. He is great with other dogs, kids of all ages, and cats. Sweet Minnie got way too friendly with her beau and will soon be having puppies. But she is already looking for that special forever home. She is about 10-12 months old and is the perfect size... about 14" at the shoulder and will be about 25-30# once her babies are born. She will of course be fixed ASAP! She is housetrained, great with other dogs, loves kids and is fine with cats. She has a very sweet, calm temperament and is great on a leash.
